I love this gun. it is very hard hitting and it make my friends duck for cover every time i fire it. in fact, im not allowed to any bb wars my friends organise because it hurts too much. i've had a few problems with it like the little piece of metal that pulls the hammer back broke off but it wasn't too hard to make a new one (very hard to buy this part off an internet site). some times the gas starts leaking after only 2 shots. over all, this is the best gun ive ever had and after you've... I LOVE THIS GUN!! I bought this gun and it was my first CO2 gun so i dont know much about them but i do know that this one was great! When i took it out of the package it felt like a real gun and when you shoot it, it is pretty realistic because the blowback is awesome. some people were saying they were having prblems with the slide but i got a version with a metal slide and it has not had any problems. The only thing that i didnt really lliike about this gun was the mag, it was kinda... (read more)

Hard hitting pistol! About 350fps with .2g bb's. Good mag capacity. Poor reliability. The ABS resin is a poor engineering choice on a blow back pistol slide. Mine broke about an inch from the barrel tip after about 10 cart. Found a cure. After getting a new slide, I added a small rubber o-ring (interior) on the slide guide between the slide itself and the spring on the guide. This absorbs about 50% of the force from blow back. Works great now. Been through about 2 dozen full CO2 cart without... (read more)

i got one used from kapowwe for $50 and couldnt wait to show up my buddy's green gas nbb. overall the gun looks feels, and shoots great. but the front of the slide about a 1/3 inch into it from the barrel broke off and thats when i remembered the phrase "when in doubt use duct tape" =D so i taped it "professionally" lol so now i just ordered one with the metal slide for $30 off of www.paintball-online.com, i highly recommend this gun to anyone who loves skirmishing or just planking car tires... I used to have this Cybergun Smith & Wesson Sigma mod. SW40F CO2. I loved it and it was awesome. It shot accurate and with good fps. The hop up was perfect and stopped it from drooping on long shots. I liked how it was adjustable as well. I had the clear plastic version. My biggest regret was that it suddenly broke when i was out with my friends in the middle of a war (slide on top and the barrel extended out and couldnt fit back in). it was past warranty so i had to eat it. i was quit... The Cybergun Smith & Wesson Sigma mod. SW40F CO2 is very realistic. Pretty accurate and overall a good gun.
I had 1 that the blowback jammed up on quite frequently, but that was nothing more than a manufacturers defect. Got a new one and happy ever since.

Overall the Cybergun Smith & Wesson Sigma mod. SW40F CO2 is a good gun, but if you are a die hard airsoft player you might want to save up for a higher end gun. I like this gun, it shoots fast and hard, and will send your friends running. It is also accurate and great for CQB. If you're an airsofter on a budget or just getting into gas guns, this is the gun for you. I personally REALLY like this gun. I own this gun. I happen to own the plastic version. This is an affordable gun, and you can... (read more)

I bought the gun as a side arm to my well r8. I have used the gun in battle several times. many of the guys i play with fear it. they too have co2 sidearms, but many have only 12-15rounds in the clips. i can punish them 3 times longer than them me :) i have found that 2 clips 80 shots is pushing the limits of a co2 cylinder, i personally change out after every magazine 39 shots to ensure max power (read more)

This gun is awesome, when i was new to airsoft it was hard to pick out a good pistol, but i was look online and i started looking into this gun.... when it came to my house i got it out of the box put bb's in it and c02 cartridge into it. Me and my friend went out side and he had a KWA MAC 11 Gas Blow Back Airsoft Machine Pistol(UZI). This is a great first gas/co2 gun and if you had two in a skirmish you would be well on your way
I have a Tokyo Marui mp5 upgrade level 5, colt classic army m4 upgrade level 3 a hard kick desert eagle co2 and a Berreta M9 gas plus a gas sniper rifle (dragonauv) but these sw40fs i just bought are by far the more fun.
These guns are very good value for money.
I would recommend beginners and intermediate level players to buy 2 of these guns

Just got back from a one week shooting course taught by Spec Ops, FBI, and DEA, and decided to take the instuctors' advice of using an airsoft pistol for indoor dryfire practice. I bought the SW40F at WAL-MART, of all places. This airsoft pistol is unbelievable. Got familiar with the pistol with a few rounds at one of the sticky targets I bought, but most BBs just bounced off, so shot groups were hard to ID. Made some bondsheet paper targets on powerpoint, and first three shots were within... (read more)

I'm new to airsoft and wanted a gun to have some fun plinking. i ordered online through geniestuff, after firing it and reloading the magazine it jamed. This turned out to be the magazine slide sticking and still does. It even rattles ! Now I'm not an experienced air softer but I do have a few pistols (Glock springer, Beretta gas, Sig Sauer gas) and this Cybergun Smith & Wesson Sigma mod. SW40F CO2 leaves them all for dead! I've already got a second one on order.
This gun is heavy and sturdy and has a real *big* gun feel to it. With the hop-up adjusted correctly you'd have no hassle hitting a torso sized target at 20 metres and it's still well do-able at 30, haven't tested beyond that.
It's my first CO2 pistol and I won't...

When I opened the box to this Cybergun Smith & Wesson Sigma mod. SW40F CO2 I was amazed at how good and realistic it looked.
I loaded up a co2 canister and 39 BBis in the staggered style and loaded it into the magazine bay. the only bad point there is a slight wobble on the mag.
I racked the slide which is very pleasing to do and let loose three double taps at 3 foam targets and they all fell down. Then from 30 yards another single shot to see what happens, at this range you're lucky to...

Written on: 05/06/2006
It's my picture, so the answer to that question is: yes, I have the aluminium slide version, I am aware of a chromed slide version, but that's also aluminium, yet chromed... Is there any other version?
Written on: 07/06/2006
Yea there's a lower powered co2 version with a plastic slide. Its lighter and has about 0.5 joules for ireland. I have one of the metal slide ones except I'm not allowed to use it till my b-day 14th june.
Just a quickie, when I try to take it apart, I pull down both the tabs and it releases the slide but it will only move about an inch forward then it won't move anymore.
Am I doing something wrong because I have done what it say's in the booklet?
Also what do you think about the Glock 19 with a metal slide? There's one on www.wolfarmouries.co.uk on the 6-8th page i think. Any thoughts would be good as you seem to have more knowledge on airsoft than I do.Chears, Deadeyedick.
Written on: 07/06/2006
The slide not coming off is due to the fact that it needs to push the hammer down a millimetre while at it, this requires a lot of force, so push harder... ;-)
If I'd buy a Glock, it would be a 32C:
-Looks nearly like the one you were going to buy
-Standard metal slide
-Compensator holes in slide
-Full auto fire mode... Need I say more?
One good advice: take a KSC gun. I don't seem to be able to find the 32C on redwolf though...

A few days ago I looked at how much the barrel and outer barrel wobble inside the gun. I have fixed this with good old camo duck tape and padded out the space which has done wonders for the accuracy. I was hitting a man sized target at 35 yards when aiming up a little

I don't have a clue, I'm not even sure whether green gas will make it cycle. How about heading to an airsoft skirm with it, plenty of glock mags there.

thnks taken to 2 skirmishes works well would just like a second mag though surprisingly in the club i play with everyone only has 92f's for there pistols. semi aegs are the weapon of choice.

hey so i had a similar problem with the slide cocking back but not forward (and the hammer doesn't cock). I took out the safety, and now it works perfectly except when the cartridge is in. If i manually cock it, everything will work fine, but once i shoot and the co2 forces the blowback action, the slide stays in the back position and does not cock the hammer. I was wondering if you had any idea on what might be wrong?
Written on: 20/12/2009
when you field strip the gun, look at the hammer and right behind it there is the spring that is very tense causing the hammer to put too much force on the slide. pull the back of the4 spring up with the ridge of a key and hold it there for about 30 seconds and that should do the trick. you may need to do it about 3 separate times to keep it broke in.

i have the same gun but mine has the plastic slide. It worked completely fine before. But now i can't cock the gun. It just won't move. And since it doesn't move i can't strip the gun down to see the problem. Any suggestions?
