I had occasion to claim due to a shoulder problem.I received payments for two months without any major delays. In fact they contacted me to say they were waiting for my continuance form for the second 30 day period.

Waited over 6 months for a claim to be sorted. Hamilton Insurance employ delay tactics at every step of the way asking for information in a bit by bit fashion. All the information they required could have been asked for in one go. They have a turn round time of 2 weeks in all letters and refuse to call you rather than write. A dreadful experience at a time where people require support not hassle.
If you are thinking of taking out health/unemployment/sickness cover then make sure who your broker ...

If in the past you were unlucky enough to take a loan out with HFC (the owner operators of Hamilton Insurance in the UK), you will find that premiums that hav ...

I am writing with reference to a recent claim to Hamilton Insurance that was put forward by myself, in relation to my inability to work for a three-month period this summer, due to an operation to resolve a defect known as Chiari Malformation, that resulted in brain surgery.

I feel that I must write to complain about the poor quality customer service that I have received throughout the claim process. I am incredibly disheartened that it has taken a period of four months for a decision to be ...

Hamilton Insurance supply ACU cover to a large group of companies, these include The Household Bank, Credit and Store Cards.

Their prices are reasonable and they allow multiple policies per loan - which seems a good thing. For instance you can have a term (or period) premium and also a monthly premium, you are supposed to be able claim on both and get payments off both. However, I thought you could only claim against one product as with Car or Buildings Insurance, they ask have you got any ot ...
