Good Points: Modern, a fruity woody scent that could be worn into fall.
Bad Points: It's different than Obsession, but it isn't really different from other trendy perfumes; the initial smell doesn't last very long; I would call it seasonal.
General comments: Those of you who are slowly backing away, come back here. I'm surprised to find myself liking this fragrance, because I usually run, run, run from Calvin Klein in that department. But this is not Obsession. It's a very different scent (though the bottle is still the same eggy bottle) that, unlike the original, does not wear out its welcome. For the first few moments, it has the fruity element of Davidoff's Echo, but it isn't cloying like Davidoff's scents, and CK's scents, tend to be. There's a soft, spicy, green tea (I think Elizabeth Arden spiced green tea, which I love). It has a musk drydown, which does not happen with Davidoff's Echo, Once settled, it stays quite close to the skin, making a casual appearance from time to time, as the wrist passes by the olfactories. This makes ON less 'offensive' to those who ran from D.E., and also more grown-up. It's very nice. However, don't expect to stand out from the crowd; this a trendy scent, good for a late-summer-well-into-fall transition.
