    Not perfect but I don't think any hosting is. I do find them good value but support is slow but as problems are few and far between it's not so bad.

    We tried to cancel our existing account at UH Hosting. It was NOT EASY, and EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!!It took more than a month, and a couple of emails sent to get rid of them.

    Too much offline time with UH Hosting, server issues, slow to no support, poor response to tickets. The entire site is offline again, along with my reseller hosted domains, which means a loss of productivity.

    Charged credit card and billed for over 14 months AFTER account closed (closed as moved to different service plan). After endless emails, phone calls resolving it, it to happened AGAIN 6 months later (and a third time a month ago). I had to threaten legal action to get back money from them after spending many hours emailing and telephoning, I eventually got this back after many months YET they still continue to bill me as we speak despite emails confirming account closure.     UH Hosting offer unbelievable prices and extremely fast responses. I'm really pleased and impressed. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for reliable and great saving web hosting.

    I've seen other bad reviews about them, but it is simply not true. So, as a happy customer, I'm happy to defend them.

    I sent them 4 enquires; all replied to within 3 hours, with satisfactory answers. They do know what they are doing!

    They are particularly suitable for manging multiple domains - using their "reseller package". Easy to upgrade when your requirements climb. Support tickets are always answered within 24 hours for me.

    I would recommend UH Hosting.

    If you don't mind waiting a week or two for your account to be set up, once you have ordered. If you also don't mind your support tickets answered in about 3 - 7 days, then UH Hosting are probably great for you.

    However, with the lack of "help" I have had from UH Hosting, I could not recommend them to a friend at all. Extra staff and support improvements have been promised for months and months, but it never has arrived yet. Lately, UH Hosting has been plagued with problem after problem.

    They were recommended to me two years ago by another webmaster; someone who is usually spot on with their judgement. On this occasion, they got it badly wrong.

    The experience of hosting with UH has been nothing short of a fiasco. It kicked off with problems setting up my account. Five days and three e-mails were required to get this done.

    I first used UH in 2003, when I got a cheap PHP/MySQL shell account. At £1.50 per month, it was excellent value. Not perfect; I called support 3 or 4 times over a couple of years; once because I forgot to update payment details, the other times... the problem was resolved, but with no indication of the cause. But for £1.50, who can complain?

    Towards the end of 2005, my database access suddenly stopped working; I called support to see if they'd changed anything round.

    Iv been with UH Hosting for about 3 years... I haven't needed to contact them in the past year, because my account has been running with no problems.

    I recently had to contact them, but it wasn't good... I waited 2 weeks for a response to my support ticket, and many forum posts. I had to badger and badger them on IRC to get any sort of help.

    Once upon a time I would have recommended UH but their customer support has dropped so dramatically there's no way I'd suggest anyone to move to them, ...

    Was good once. Now UH Hosting have far too many customers to people ratio.

    If you want somewhere where you don't mind not getting replies/answers to your issues with them - then UH are good.

    Would not recommend again.

    Been with UH-Hosting (www.uh-hosting.co.uk) for about a year, excellent value for money, downtime VERY litle, hosting using reseller account and all other 16 customers pleased with service.

    UH hosting service has a good range of services and packages for a reasonable price.

    However this seems to be causing them problems as their customer base has grown fast and they are now taking a long time to react to any support requests.

    Possibly fine for a "hobby" site, but if you can't live with your site being broken for a few weeks while support get around to looking at your problems then this may not be the company for you.
