Good Points: Compettiive pricing, easy to use web-site. Never had any problems with delivery, always been next day.
Bad Points: some stock seems out of date, check what you're buying.
General comments: Aria tends to be my default starting point to look when buying PC kit. I've never needed to make a return, and never had any problems. I think they might be best avoided if you expect to need help with your purchase...

Bought a monitor with 3 years on-site warranty. I have been told that the manufacturers Yukaru will not honour this (as they have no service agents in the uk) aria wont help as they say this is the manufacturers warranty not theirs.
I feel that Aria are not a respectable retailer and should not be trusted to give any type of customer support.

I made several purchases over the last 3/4 years. The main reason I decided to go along with Aiara Technology was their competitive price. While their managers are comparatively polite and arrogant, the salespersons are quite arrogant and rude. Though do have they have geographical (Landlines) numbers e.g. 0161, but like many other companies nowadays, they would only expect you to contact them on 0870 numbers. We've made somewhere between 10 and 15 purchases from Aria www.aria.co.uk over the past couple of years, using them to supply our computer repair shop for odds and ends required in custom pc builds. Every purchase made has been exactly as they described, at the price they quoted (competitive), and delivered when expected. I will continue to use them as my primary source for pc gear.

I ordered a laptop off the website (i admit, all i wanted was a cheap fix, nothing flashy, just something to take over the laptop i have at the moment.). Very, very poor customer relations. There is a man you should avoid in store. You will know him. A real idiot who thinks he is always right, and you the customer, are always wrong. I took back an item that was definitely faulty, but this guy tested it for over a hour and informed me it was fine, so no return money. Appalling company to deal with. They give distance selling a bad name. I know that my product was inexpensive, but I'm glad to have had the experience before possibly buying something expensive and having to return it.
I shall never deal with Aria again, and I advise you to steer well clear of them.

Purchased software from these guys which arrived on time as I paid the extra for next delivery. Once I received the software I realised immediately that due to a very important aspect which they failed to mention on their website, the software was unsuitable. I immediately tried to return the software which was unopened but was told that they would not refund or accept the return under any circumstances and that they were not prepared to give a reason why.

Emailed customer services a couple of times with no reply. Phoned customer services, managed to speak to someone who was relatively helpful and said I'd have no problem getting a RMA and replacement. RMA was rejected with no reason, but they did kindly inform me they had the option as whether to give a reason.

This is the worst company I have dealt with, one item went wrong, had been working for a couple of days then stoped, I contacted the maker, they ran some tests, told me to send it back to the supplier.
Took over a week to get an rma number, I sent it back on the 24th feb 07, now the 27 march, still no unit, got an email to tell me to contact c/s, which I did 10 days ago, was told that they can not find a fault, so they said it would be sent back to me, 3 day ago I called again as still not back ...

Boy is this by a country mile the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their prices may be reasonable (they are cheaper) but i found that if you have a problem you are up against it. Four 1 hour waits on the phone listening to a recorded message telling saying just how valuable you are to them and how wonderful their customer care is (believe me it is non existent) and then you get the same obstinate uncaring person spinning you the same line every time when the telephone is eventually answered ...

Like many low price computer parts retailers, you don't get great after-sales service. If you don't have any problems with the products (or City Link!), Aria Technology is a great shopping experience. (They did fix my blown shuttle mobo, however, it took about 5 weeks.)

Aria Technology use City Link as their delivery service. City Link had a problem and were unable to deliver before 9am (the goods finally turned up at 10:05am). City Link were courteous and helpful (their Customer Service representative kept trying to ring the van driver and phoned me back to keep me informed).
USEFUL INFO: City Link also told me that, when delivery is delayed the supplier organisation (in this case Aria) are entitled to a refund of TWICE the shipping. cost.

Bought a " reconditioned "mp3 player ,it arrived faulty and minus battery case and neck cord as advertised.
Had to send it to Samsung for repair, as Aria Technology messed me about. Sending of missing items were eventually promised however they changed the advert several times and now state items were not included, don't answer E.mails since that point. Product broke within 3 days of use, corrupting all files. Receiving a refund has been a real pain, over a month. Not once have Aria Technology responded to my contact through their online form. The staff on the phone are helpful but I have waited over 10 minutes to get through and they are only open 9-5 Monday to Friday. It has been a really frustrating experience having to deal with Aria Technology.
had to return the DVD re-writer, and they have not answered any of my emails, or a fax I sent to them. I am desperate to contact them, but they just ignore me, though they have acknowledged they have received the item back for testing, but then I got silence, and I have not heard from them for weeks. I would never use them again.
