Used hard drive in a new build PC, only lasted a few weeks and started to make clicking noises and error message, disk at risk! untill started to get worse and loss of visability of hard drive, spent ages trying to get it to work, sent it back for repair. Customer service got on to the case OK, responded to my e-mails ok. “Aria is a rubbish company - And worst customer service...”

The company is a mess in my opinion. Horrible customer service and false advertising. For starters, things looked all well and good on the website, BUT I soon realised this was because everything from product reviews to product questions are heavily screened. I even tested this with a few questions and reviews for products - I submitted a critical review, they never put it on the product wall, then a positive review and it went up v quickly. Ordered a graphics card from aria. Item arrived in good time and as stated on the site. After two days testing, found the item to be faulty. Tried in a different PC and still had same issue. Purchase an HDD and a SATA RAID controller through Aria two months ago. The HDD was delivered, but the SATA controller was not. I was later told that this was because it was coming from a third party. It has still not materialised and despite requesting action or a refund from Aria, I still have no product and they still have my money. However one of the items wasn't required,so I applied for a RAM and returned the product, unopened and in perfect condition. Ordered a couple of times from Aria. First few orders came fine no problems and would've been quite happy to give them 5 stars. However on my last order one of the items I received was faulty so I contacted Aria who were very nice and accomodating, sorted out the RMA and told me to send the goods back, great I thought.... NO! I used to rate this company a few years back , not any more , I recently purchased a external hd and paid for next day delivery , that I had to wait 4 days for, only for it to turn up in a bag! the box had been smashed about so obviously I didn't want this as it could of caused damaged to the hd (why they sent it in a bag i dont know), I then sent this back to them and almost 2 weeks later have still not received my replacement , ive been on the phone everyday trying to find out whats going... This is ridiculous. Ordered pretty much a full system - £400 worth of stuff and paid for a next day delivery. after a delay - I had to call in to check. They told me it will go out next day. So the next day delivery - completely pointless. I did get a refund of the ND charges. But. Next day I called in again to check what happened. “Heavy shipping costs, and poor CS”

One of the items (B Grade item) developed a fault 49 days after purchase, rather than providing me with a RMA number, they dragged it out to 60 days, which is the cut off point for B Grade items, and told me it was no longer covered........ Having bought a i3 laptop from aria at a reasonable price,I found the battery failed to charge after approx 3 months. I phoned them up and spoke to the one and only person there who told me quite nicely that there was nothing he could do about it as it was a couple of days out of warranty I asked to speak to his supervisor,he either didn't have one or he lied and said there wasn't one. Good range of products but be warned if you need to return an item then be prepared for a long drawn out fight, with no replies to your emails, wait times of up to 40 mins for customer services and fail after failed promises. Went to RMA a faulty item, had to pay to send it back. Didnt get back to me for weeks. Got hold of them saying I would like to exchange the item for another item seeing as ive had a bad experience. Went to Manchester to buy all the parts I needed for my new build. When we got there we was surprised of how easy ti was to get the parts you wanted and how long it took. Made a few orders to get all the same parts don't ask why we kept forgetting things we were there less than 30 minutes and we were on our way to build our pc. I have been buying stuff over their counter for at least fifteen years and have found them to be generally okay. I bought five AOpen XcCubes off them and all the other bits needed to build and maintain them. Don't ever order from them. I ordered a PC part and waited 2 weeks before I decided to contact their customer service. Emailing them is pointless, as they won't reply. Call their customer services, you have to wait for ages to get through. Person over the phone said his colleague will send me an email to get my details for a lost package claim on royal mail. I've heard from their sales counter guys that if it says 'Web Only' next to the product it means they don't stock it. It comes from a third party.. Isn't that another term for e-tailing where when you purchase something from a website they subsequently purchase that item from elsewhere so as to avoid stocking it themselves. After checking their website i noticed that there are lots of items that have 'Web Only' next them. So just how much stock do they actually have and why are they having to do this when other PC retailers actually have the stock ready to sell??

The order was split in two parcels one safely arrived. Another was delivered by different company and missed me, after that was returned to Aria.co.uk (according to them). For two months I can't get any single reply from them nor money, contacted aria through their website and by email. Will never use this company again and would recommend to stay away from it. YES THEY HAVE GOOD PRICES BUT THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCK! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Yes they have good prices on their 'superspecial' items but there customer service is non-existent. Try and email them about a problem and they simply don't want to know. I have sent them 12 emails over 2 weeks and have not received a single reply, the only way to contact them is by phone and even that is a mission in itself, you have to wait at least 10 minuets to get through then they cant wait to get you off...
