    Good Points: Mmmm vanilla, all grown-up and long-lasting


    Bad Points: It's a little on the masculine side


    General comments: The first few moments I had Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille on I smelled vanilla, almonds and smoky wood. I liked it, but I felt it was a little too masculine for my taste. Once it settled, it became a warm, cosy, simple but deep vanilla that lasted most of the day--though it never ceased to be ever-so-slightly masculine.

    Some may find it a little cloying for a daytime/spring/summer scent and (like me) feel it isn't feminine enough. Others may see it as an adult version of a Bath and Body Works vanilla scent and wear it with confidence.

    If you are a true vanilla lover, I highly suggest paying the money for this due to its simplistic and cosy warm vanilla essence. If you find some vanilla scents to be a little much, you should most definitely sample this before buying; for it is an intense vanilla not to be taken lightly.
