I currently work at a supercuts and i love it. i love to give the full 360 experience to my customers. perhaps im different from the typical "Supercuts" employee. everyone gives supercuts such a bad reputation and it really frustrates me. if anything--i love to please the customers and give them an amazing haircut. mind you i have had 2 years experience in a higher end salon and ppl just tend to think "you work at supercuts--thats trashy". i bring my own edge into my work and i have never had complaints. on the other hand people tend to think a 1 or 2 dollar tip is a decent tip. Uhm, no. when i worked in an higher end salon i made 10 dollars a haircut. thats a decent tip. although higher end salons dont really have that large of a clientele.i could do 20 haircuts in a day and make 30 dollars at the end of it. How can you support yourself when you make minimum wage and get little tips? because the customers think "oo this is supercuts its not worth it" especially when you have to deal with difficult children--parents are even more difficult. then at the end of it "Oh it looks wondeful heres a dollar tip!" it really gets me when people tell me to keep the change (Which will turn out to be 5 cents and say "Oh sweetie thats for you!" --oh thanks. obviously some people need that 5 cents more than i do.) or when people stiff me. HOW CHEAP CAN YOU BE? it completely flusters me. some people need to realize that there are talented stylists that work at supercuts--sorry if you had someone who was inexperienced and had no clue what they were doing. dont take it out on everyone else and assume that because you once had a bad haircut there that everyone else will do that to you and so u have to be completely rude and ignorant to the stylists. Because when you assume things you make an ass out of you and me. A little word to the wise (thats you consumers!) start respecting your stylists and tipping properly. You wouldnt like it if someone came into your work and completely humiliated you and disrespected you. Just think about that.

misleading prices, too busy chatting on the phone, rubbish cutting technique ( which hairdressers these days cut straight these days).My hairdresser wouldnt cut a bitt off because it went over the inch as priced( what prices why dont you say so on the window???) a wates of my time . moral of the story convenience doesnt pay off all the time!!

went to the manchester arndale one i went in with a picture but the stylist cut my hair too short cut my hair uneven and did my fringe halfway up my forehead when i complained they just said the would get the same stylist who made the disater hair cut to correct they only offered this after saying it was the haircut i wanted until i showed them the picture when i said no i didnt trust them i wanted a refund they became rude and said the would get the supervisor to ring me the next day the staff ...

I had the worst experience I have ever had with a hair dresser. All I wanted was a simple trim. I told her to cut one inch. She showed me how much she was going to cut, and I thought it was a lot so I just showed her a little less. Whilst cutting my hair she seemed totally disinterested and kept looking at the door asking every person who entered "were you the one who called" Then she came to my bangs and she showed me how much she was going to cut. I decided to finally get my highlights done again as my hair looks terrible when it's brown, I was scared off doing my hair every few months because one place i went charged me £90, I went someplace else and they charged £80!

I decided now that I would do what normal people do, and ASK BEFOREHAND how much it will be, so they told me between £60-£70 for a half head of highlights

i went to supercuts in silverdale wa for the first time. i had a wonderful girl. she really listenend to me, fixed my hair from a hack job done at JCPennys and was really interested in what i was saying! so thank you supercuts for having super stylists! YOU GUYS ARE awesome!

Never go to supercuts. If I wanted to spend $146 dollars on a couple highlights I would go to a high end salon. My hair is already blonde all I wanted is for them to add a few more blonde highlights threw out to make it even more blonde. They also trimmed it probably took off like a cm at the most! Charged me 15$ for a cut!!! Also charged me 40$ for the toner. So when she told me the total I was shocked. No way I was paying that. Espically when the sign says highlights were 38$. I had my hair cut at Supercuts York, all i wanted was about an inch taking off to tidy the ends, the woman took all of 5min on the actual cut, i have quite long hair and she didn't use any clips. When i got home i realised how uneven it was and had to cut the front myself to make it right, i could have saved myself the best part of £30 and done it myself in the first place. I will never go back there and If you must go to this branch of Supercuts

I went to Supercuts (Eastgate centre) as I was in dire need of a cut. The stylist there was incredibly courteous and gave some really good advice. She was extremely efficient and I'm very pleased with the result!

I went to Supercuts (Eastgate centre branch) as my hair was in dire need of a cut and re-style. I found the stylist, to be very hospitable and courteous, she listened to what I wanted and gave lots of good advice for my particular hair type (she even did several demos of ways to style my new haircut) She also gave great after care advice. I'm very pleased with the cut.

i went to supercuts for a lowlight & highlight. my base color is color treated blonde. i wanted the foil so when the roots grew in they would just blend. when i left there my hair looked gorgeous,but, i'm not finished. after showering & hair washing all my highlights & lowlights washed out, so you guessed now i'm left with all blonde hair,just like i had when i walked in. i was livid & decided to give it a week. big mistake. i waited a week too long. Not bothered to listen what I am saying, pricking my scalp with nails while washing. My god if they are behaving like this in this recession then how were they earlier..

THE EXPERIENCE HAD NEVER BEEN SOO BAD. The hairdresser did not bother anything I required. She just took basic requirement and went on and on with washing and blow drying my hair. Her nails were pricking my scalp. I mentioned that to her, but she did not bother. She was behaving as if she is doing some favour to me. Every movement of hers was irritating. I DO NOT THINK ANYONE WOULD WANT TO GET ILL-TREATED BY PAYING MONEY.

SO, THATS SUPERCUTS. I wonder, if they behave like this in the recession ...

My fault, I swore I would never go back. OK, I am a liar, desperate,)
I thought Supercuts could not exceed the disaster of the last time I was there.

I was in a bind and there was no last minute alternative so I went back. They are always available because there is never anyone there-except me.

I hated my trip to supercuts! The person who was cutting (or rather hacking at) my hair was not interested in what I wanted my hair to look like. Also even though it was not direct I could tell that she hated my hairstyle and her tone of voice was almost like she was sneering. I can tell you one thing I am never going to go to supercuts ever again in my entire life!

Supercuts should be renamed super crap!
I would not visit again if I was given a million pound to do so.

I took my daughter there to have her bob trimmed which was a couple of inches below her shoulders. I asked for it to be trimmed to a maximum of 2 inches being extra careful with the fringe so that it's not too short. She has come out with a wonky fringe that has been hacked into and the back hacked at in various angles and lengths into the nape of her neck.

The first time I went to supercuts cut my hair, I was very well attended and the hairdresser's done a great job. However today I returned to supercuts and cut my hair with another hairdresser's, I believe totally inexperienced, because it has a huge damage to my hair. I asked for a cut and leaves the room brisbane almost hairless. It was very short, well beyond what I had asked. It was horrible! I am very unhappy!

From all the hairdressers and shops I have ever been Supercuts has to be the place I have felt the most relaxed and satisfied. Obviously some girls are better than others, but I have always been pleased with the results, and after having my hair done with a few girls I have found two that know exactly what I like and suits me. they are not afraid to do bold colours or cuts like many places I have been in the past. I would recommend it to anyone, eve just to have a try.
