The chalet was old fashioned but very clean and that is more important to me. The linen was also very clean and white.
The entertainment was great with the comedian being excellent and the dancing group more funny than they intended.

The shop was stocked with all the necessary essentials and all the facilities mentioned on the website were provided.

I have stayed on worse holiday parks and paid more for the privilege. I would go back and stay there again.

This is our third year staying there, we have just come back today after staying for Three weeks.
It's in a loverly quite forest valley but with in a 30min drive there are loads of places you can be.
There was a little damp but all the chalet are the same. We had double glazing so only used about £7 a week on electric for heating, baths and cooking. The weather was glorious better then our holiday in July.
Can't wait to go back next year.

Had a chalet that had been renovated at Michaelstow Manor Holiday Park, it was better than many others but it was damp and you had a electric coin meter. There were several things missing in the kitchen utensils department and what were there were rusty and falling apart. Lovely settings, had a very good evening meal and thats all the good I can say for it. Would I go again...NO

We arrived at this dump around 4:00PM, the drive up to the Michaelstow Manor resembled a haunted mansion desecrated with houses. The pool table was in the conservatory, the arcade was the size of a shoe box and the checkout desk was like something out of a motel from an American movie. We got into our accommodation, which we knew would be basic, but with the dated furniture which was all ridden with damp and a thick musty smell, you even have to pay for your own electricity. We took one sniff at ...

I've no idea how Michaelstow Manor Holiday Park has ever passed an inpection. Perhaps because of its isolated location it has been overlooked. The accommodation was so damp, to the point where my family and I all developed colds. Our clothes were wet to the touch and we even discovered a slug in the kitchen. If you are a slug, it would be ideal. We ended up paying for accommodation in another hotel for the last night as we couldn't bear the thought of going back. The shower temperature was so va ...

Oh my goodness!!!! A place where time has forgotten. Had read previous reviews and set off to Michaelstow Manor very worried, but had paid already, what a mistake... Went to reception to get our accomodation keys, the floor was covered in stains, this should have been a omen but we were trying to stay positive. They gave us number 13!! "Its only a number" i said to my husband. We went into the chalet where time had stood still for a least 30yrs. There was a couch not a setee, that looked older t ...

We stayed at Michaelstow following a disastrous start at a different resort. The staff, accommodated our family and were extremely kind and welcoming. The staff (especially the entertainment staff) were fantastic, polite and extremely professional. My daughter especially enjoyed the pool. What could have been an awful holiday, turned into a fantastic one - thanks.

My family and young daughter all stayed in the coach house situated next to the manor house. Are appartment was a little dated but very clean and spacious. The manor grounds were very well kept with a great modern park for the kids to play. We recomend the coach house as a base!! for traveling around cornwall and would come again. The only real draw back is the amount of £ coins the electric meter ate up.

Stayed for a week at Michaelstow Manor Holiday Park, could not wait to get home. Very poor and out of date accommodation, it was like a throw back to the 70s, staff very careless way would never go back there.

After reading the reviews before we went to Michaelstow, most being very negative, we decided to go with an open mind.... how we wish now that we had believed those terrible reviews!
On arrival at Michaelstow, it looked very pleasant. Our room in the Manor house was clean and adequate for the 6 of us.On first appearance the facilities seemed ok.Thats where the compliments stop unfortunately! We thought that Fawlty Towers was a fictional hotel...!!
We had a fridge with no thermostat , so within a ...

St Tudy, Michaelstow Manor Holiday Park was very picturesque having a beautiful drive up to the Manor House. The chalets are well set out and the site seems well organised and has a good sized covered swimming pool.
The food in the restaurant was good but due to a staff shortage took a very long time in coming, likewise the bar service could be improved. Overall not bad and would return if the opportunty
    arises
