Looked at several small amps for home practice. I really like this Laney MXD 15 amp. The effects are easy to use and not over complicated (like Line6 spider 2). Clean sound is nice especially at low volumes. Crunch channel gives all the distortion you need without becoming to overpowering. Ideal if you live in a terrace house! There is a low crackling noise on crunch which gives it a 'live' sound. Is well built and would highly recommend. Check Ebay shops for best prices. (read more)
