    Good Points: Fantastic service - even altered a dress that was a size 12 wedding dress to fit a 4 month pregnant size 14 bride!!


    Bad Points: None what so ever!


    General comments: Angel Brides were fantastic and fell over themselves to help me!

    I bought my dress in Jan 07 and then fell pregnant and moved my wedding to Nov 07 - I was 4 months pregnant and a size larger than I had originally planned to be (the dress was bought from their clearance sale).

    I took the dress in when I was about 12 weeks pregnant and explained the situation. They said to wait and re try the dress 3 weeks before the wedding and then they would be able to see if it worked or not - they were so desperate to help me.

    I took the dress back in and re tried it on and they said that their seamstress would be able to help me out - they undid all the side seams - hard when there is about 4 layers involved! And they added in a new back panel and lengthened the lace and took up the hem - all for a measly £80 I think it was - this was fantastic value for money we thought! They did the alterations in a week and I went back in and tried it on and I stood there crying it was so perfect! I picked it up a week later and they had had it cleaned and pressed and it was perfect for my day.

    People were amazed that it was a normal dress (not a maternity one) and it hid the bump fantastically.

    These guys really made my day and I took my dress back to them to get it cleaned and took photos of the day and a card for them to express my gratitude - which really wasn't enough! I was so pleased with their service I cannot recommend them highly enough!

    They even had my appointment for alterations on the day that they were trying to get ready for a wedding dress sale in Birmingham NEC and were up to their eyes in it! But they were happy to help me and were as thrilled as I was that the dress worked I think! They did have back up dresses just in case but were determined to do everything to get my original dress to fit rather than get more money out of me (not bad when the dress was originally half price aswell!)

    Angel Brides, Horsforth was friendly, informative, nothing was too much trouble. Although busy, we felt that we were the most important customers. Did not try to push us towards the most expensive styles and really gave sound advice. We were extremely impressed with the staff and valued their expertise. Nothing was too much trouble!

    We would certainly recommend this shop to any bride looking for the perfect dress!

    Great service, everything is well explained to you. and they listen to what you want rather than just telling you you look gorgeous!

    The shop premises are nice and spacious, with loads and loads of dresses, shoes and veils to choose from!

    When choosing a veil at Angel Brides, I could basically say what length, fabric and thickness etc I wanted, and I got exactly that!

    I borrowed an underskirt, and they were really understanding when it ended up not going back to Yorkshire with my Mum af ...

    Angel Brides have a good selection to choose from and seem to know a lot about what's out there for brides-to-be, including accessories. They really made me feel comfortable and confident about my choices as they weren't afraid to tell me what didn't work well for me, as well as what did. Despite the fact that they were really busy (always a good sign!) I was really happy with the service and the attention I got, as I feel that they actually do care about a bride's "big day".     My daughter has just had the winter wedding day she always dreamed of - thanks to Heidi and her team at Angel Brides(with a little help in the snow department!) ALL dressmaking / alterations were completed to the highest standards, a perfect fit!

    Fantastic service - nothing was too much trouble. All of the Angel Brides staff are very friendly, not pushy and are full of very helpful suggestions. Everything was perfect.

    Very poor service. Ok when you're buying. Once they've got their money, they don't like making changes. They left me with a completely ruined bridesmaid dress 3 days before the wedding. Have to pay for everything up front, alterations £75. Not very nice people to deal with.
