Good Points: Immense fun to drive. More comfortable than normal minis because of the recaro seats. Quick - it's an SPi Cooper, so that speaks for itself. Hold their value well. Roof really easy to put on and off.

Bad Points: Roof expensive and tricky to replace, as are the parts of the styling kit. Easy to break into (like any soft top) so be careful where you leave it. Really should be garaged overnight.

General comments: A beautiful car, ours regularly upstages Ferarris in car parks as it draws crowds! Usually fairly free from rust comparred to other Minis of a similar age as they were very expensive new and hence tend to have been garaged and looked after. If looking to buy one, try to find a nice original example, as they are hard to put right, and it's the original ones that hold value. Remember, only about 250 were made, so Cabrio specific parts are hard to source.
