    Good Points: Great cusioning and support. Always available in last years model at a discount


    Bad Points: Expensive if you can't find them in a sale.


    General comments: Came across Asics Gel Kayano XI after using many differnent running shoes, and have never looked back. The recommended retail price is expensive, but I've never bought a pair at that price. They are the most comfortable shoe for running long distances I have worn, and they also last a long time as well.

    My podiatrist told me I had to buy these Asics Gel Kayano XI running shoes and they did feel much better than my old trainers for my collapsing arches and overpronating feet. I still have to wear specialist inserts in my Gel Kayanos, but find the trainers comfortable to wear. They do not stop my particular foot problems, but they help, and my foot problems are very bad.
