After cleaning out some old boxes, I found a pair of kinda worn-out Airwlak One's. I started wearing them right away and it brought back memories. I always worn them when I was still playing in a band. Man did I adore those shoes. I don't know how many pairs I had, but the ones I am wearing now are the last ones I have for sure. After hunting for the past 3 years, I have just purchased a pair of 'Airwalk The One' shoes through EBay. However these are made of canvas and look as though Airwalk are trying to compete with the Converse style. My last pair, purchased 10 years ago, are made of suade. The new ones are great, but I notice that the front is a little narrower than the old suade pair I have, which takes away a little of the comfort as I have wide feet. I bought this Airwalk The One skate shoe for 20 bucks and loved it. for one they had my size. second, the price was great. lastly, the comfort cannot be beat for that price. I've bought shoes that were 3 and 4 times that amount that looked alright but the comfort was no where near as good as this one. the style is also great and simple, which i really like. I'd buy these same shoes every time if i could, but i cannot find any place that sells this model anymore. please put this model back on... (read more)
