On my search for a reliable prepaid phone cards, the name SpeedyPin was marked on my mind and it was a referral from a friend of mine, she said that she was using SpeedyPin so if I were looking for a prepaid card I might as well purchase from them because of their incentives such as 100% guarantee on all calls and other great discounts on cards, I was skeptical at first to use it because there are lots of negative reviews on the net about SpeedyPin while others said that it was awesome, also I was also wondering why my friend is using it for a very long time, so I decided to try in order for me to give formal review about SpeedyPin based on my personal experience.

SpeedyPin has been on the industry since 1997 and still up to now they are up and running, meaning they are filtered by time to become a solid company, also their company is enrolled in the Better Business Reliability program which is a big plus on their credibility.

Tackling about their services, I first bought 270 minutes worth of calls on the first time and haven't experienced any kind of hidden charges, but after a few months of using it, I experience minor problems, like my call stop in the middle of the conversation and also at the beginning of my call it just cuts out and the minutes were consumed and leave me unsatisfied with my purchase, so I instantly called their costumer support and told them about the problem, after being reviewed by the operators they told me that it was just a minor technical problem and worry not for they will be giving back the minutes that were consumed in 48 hours, at first I was so disappointed and tried to follow up my report even if the 48 hours allotted time isn't consumed, so the operators told me that I need to wait and be patient, so I did wait and in my surprise I was really happy that they gave back the minutes that was consumed but haven't been used, they were honest with their 100% guarantee, so I can say that they can be trusted.

Overall even though we can experience some minor problems on calls that we will surely experience on other prepaid phone companies, I give SpeedyPin a positive rating because of their excellent customer support services, also their cheap rates that offers huge discount on bulk purchase.

Horrid. Hard to use, hangs up randomly when the circuits are busy. Do not buy this card.

As stated in other reviews, get overcharged for minutes and speedypin just says "oh well, our guarantee is only good for 30 days." If you purchased a card through them, check you minutes carefully. They have lost my business.

SpeedyPin phone cards used to be great but whatever happened it is almost a scam now.
The line goes dead as soon as they are answered yet you are charged.
I had my card on auto recharge since last year. First couple months were great, but then it went bad but I did not realize since I was sharing my card with my wife. I only realized it after she went for a holiday overseeas, when I got charged twice $50 each in three weeks. I have paid hundreds of dollars for calls that I never was able to s ...

SpeedyPin Phone Cards charge me twice or three times more than the advertised price. I talk for 10 minutes, 20-30 minutes will be gone from my account. I will never do business with them again. It's better to use Skype or Yahoo.

I don't like SpeedyPin Phone Cards at all. I didn't get the right amount of minutes. Out of the 3 times i bought from this company, my phone cards were cut off without a warning.

Poor connection all the time for me, minutes are taken away from me even if I don't get connection, unhelpful customer service in my experience...

I do not recommend to buy any phone cards from speedypin.com.

I used SpeedyPin once over a year ago (2007) and 'lost' almost half my minutes. They said it was a technical problem. I swore I'd never use them again. Hear it is, 2008, and I used them again (I forgot what had happened). Same as before, nothings changed. I lost almost 10 minutes the first call attempt, even though I got a busy signal!

They charged over 4 times more than the advertised rate!
Customer Service acknowledged a "system" problem and assured it would be fixed within 48 hours - meaning they were going to refund the minutes back into my account. I called over 15 times (sometimes being disconnected after a 30 minute "hold"), talked to 8 different people including 2 supervisors and in the end still don't have the minutes back nor my money. So I paid US$51.00 to SpeedyPin.com and paid in the end more per minute than fro ...

After calling custumer service, they ajusted the remaining balance, but I am fed up with this as the overbilling continues. They are stealing my money. I would look elsewhere for a phone card.

I used to like Speedypin, and it has been hard to give up on them entirely, but after countless times of nearly all their cards only giving me 1/5-1/3 of my minutes claimed, I couldn't stand it anymore. Customer service has always given me compensatory minutes, but $15 for a 2.3 cent card lasting an hour just isn't worth it (that was the last card that was supposed to make up for my $40 in cards that were only worth about $10!)

They used to care a bit more about what they would sell and the q ...
