I called buymobiles.net today to enquire about a phone and order. I was on hold for 22 minutes of the worst high pitch squeeling jazz I've ever suffered. I got through to someone who subsequently transferred me to someone else and another five minutes on hold. If that's the wait for a sale, I dreaded to think what a problem or complaint might be. From this experience I thought I'd see if there were any reviews. I know there will be more negative reviews as happy customers don't feel the need to write one, but why should they? After all, they have only got what they have paid for and good customer service should be the norm, not the exception. Unfortunately I will now have to go and pay £240 more over the 24 months, from the High Street or Network. Money I can ill afford, but I don't think I want the potential grief if anything goes wrong. Gutted.

3rd phone i have had from buymobiles never had problem before i have recommended to friends but last phone i got had been opened all sealed packets ripped and headphones used when asked about this was told have to to quality check some well if that's case should be sold off as used are given away in comps or something not sold as new unit felt really let down and wont be using them again which is a shame after my past custom.think truth of matter is was a returned unit as got faulty charger which i have stood to myself rather than send back and have to deal with buymobiles again so not happy

Have bought a phone with them on a redeemable cashback back contract. Have noticed during the first year that they are kind of reluctant to pay the customer's cash back money into their account. All the amounts have been paid nevertheless. Now that I am fast approaching the end of my contract I find myself begging them to make the payments. The last payment I had to chase. The payment which was due week ago, after the agreed 56 days waiting period since they had my voucher, well...I am still chasing this. Sent an email, no response. Send a second one and got vague apology with the news that I have to wait further 28 days for the payment for no apparent reason! This is nearly three months waiting for a payment agreed on a contract! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TAKING UP A CONTRACT WITH BUYMOBILES.NET Taking up your time to chase payments, customer service very poor!

With regards your cashback payments and the delays you have had in receiving the monies due, I would like to take this opportunity to explain. We have encountered serious technical issues with our system which meant we were unable to access certain parts of it, such as the emails received, the payments schedule and relevant information. I understand now that you have explained...this is all that it takes really.
In all honesty I have not had problems until few months back.
However this had happened twice now and also understandably your customers might get frustrated with the delays if not contacted and given an explanation.

I am happy with my contract and hand set all went well arrived super fast!!! However my free gift isn't as advertised and ive been trying to contact buy mobiles all week with no success. I realised when i took the contract they have limited office hours but its a bit of a joke that after several emails and numerous call ive had no response. i work full time and being on hold my entire lunch hour isn't good customer services. The deals are good and my mum got hers no problem and was very happy. But i will be speaking to trading standards about this matter.

I haven't and I'm just wondering if you definitely receive one when it's dispatched since as they're only open til 5 that's not long left to dispatch my phone...

I wouldn't worry the free gift can take a little longer the company seem ok to me. But in sure they has sent me an older version of the tablet i ordered. It arrived within 3weeks of my phone. But they advertised a Microsoft surface 2 tablet but ive been sent an older version so a little disappointed. Depending on your choice of free gift i wouldn't worry like i said my mums took 28 days she got it and was more than happy. I received confirmation emails for both my phone and then my gift.

It is a really good service and the phone arrived 2 days after I ordered it online, but the free gift !!! I have been told by a lady on the phone I would receive it after 5 days I got my phone but it didn't come. They sent an email saying it would come within the next 21 days !!! I have waited 28 days it has still not come and I can not get hold of anyone on the phone !!!! Still waiting :(

So the other day, i placed an order for an iPhone 5 which was meant to be delivered the next day. I was quite pleased as i managed to find a very good deal. Shortly after i recieved an email stating i need to provide proof of adress, which i did almost immediately. I didn't hear back for days, despite trying to contact them several times both by phone and email. This morning i recieved the exact same email again, requesting that i send them some form of identification. This is just slightly frustrating, as i'm going away in a few days and i need to be able to guarantee that i can be there to recieve it before i go. If not i may have to cancel, which i do not wish to do as it's the best deal I've found so far.

Great value plan and fab phone but had to reorder as they messed up the first order by linking it to my contact number account without permission so when the phone arrived it wasn't in my name and I couldn't even speak to my provider as wasn't named on my own contract anymore. Still waiting for a refund which I have been told takes 21 days!!

In the end the phone arrived , but it was touch and go for two days. Placed the order on Thursday evening, no problem, and was told delivery would be Saturday. PAC code was due to expire on the Tuesday. Later Thursday night I received an email which said the phone wasn't in stock and they'd let me know. Phoned them in a panic the next morning: the expected delivery hadn't arrived on the Thursday. Why didn't the person who took my order know that, I said. No explanation or apology given. When I explained about the urgency (PAC code) they said they'd try and get one but couldn't guarantee it for the Tuesday. All OK in the end, but .....

Very good service and helpful staff. Annoyed by the misleading statement on the website stating the phone will be delivered next day. Clearly this is a fairy tale and doesn't ever happen. This was not a requirement for me but once I had been offered this I really did find this annoying especially as when I went back to the website to see if I could have misinterpreted the claim, the offer was order by 9.00 p.m. for next day delivery no mention of the 2 days to vet and process the order. I also had no idea the unit I was ordering was a refurbished phone.

The phone I ordered is excellent , Couldn't be happier and the description was detailed and correct. The problem I had with the order was the delivery which if I hadn't chased it would still not have arrived.The goods were due to be delivered to my work address because nobody was home but with no contact the order was put on hold until the address was confirmed ? Only When I phoned to question , was informed Of this but as I was at work suggested to carry on and deliver to my home/billing address to which I was told that would have to be confirmed aswell !! Eventually the order (not complete) was dispatched but I am still waiting for the car charger

The Customer service staff are helpful and friendly. The deal I had was 24 months with a reduction in cost by redemptions. I received my phone on time and got to use it straight away. After a month I thought I should investigate the procedure for redemption and I have missed the window of claiming the vouchers. I only now realise the vouchers were not with the phone. One to remember next time.

The service was quick and simple, but unfortunately my handset got shipped to the billing address, although the order process gave the option of having it sent to a work address (where I knew I would be all day). Unfortunately this lead to quite abit of inconvenience, ringing up the courier and working out where it was, only to be told it had been sent to the wrong address. If the handset can only be sent to the billing address there shouldn't be an option for it to be sent to another address, or more attention needs to be paid to the delivery address when shipping to avoid this kind of thing happening.

I bought my phone thinking I was renewing my contract, what they don't tell you is they put it through as a new sale. So I now have two contracts to pay for the the next month And I have lost all my loyalty rewards with Orange ie, magic numbers etc..... Not a happy bunny !!!!!!

Hi, when handsets are received direct from our suppliers, we do perform our own quality control checks and this does involve breaking the seals. However, we do advise Customers that if they are not happy with this, we can arrange a replacement to be sent out and request that the seals aren't broken. I am sorry that you were disappointed with the process this time, and I would ask that you please still consider us in the future.
