Tried to sign up with Vodafone sim only after Vodafone themselves offered sim deal but didn't honour the offer. Buymobiles went through the whole checkout and at the end it states it is the Vodafone lite. Not anywhere prior to checkout does it state this. Shame as I need a minimum of 3 sim only deals. I cannot deal with dodgy car salesman like tactics. Why can't people just be honest.

“Contracts misleading”

Ordered an HTC10 on 24 August with a monthly advertised cost of £32.99. When I said I assume my old mob number would transfer I was told this would cost an extra £5.00/month. I accepted this but when I went to an EE shop they quickly transferred all my data onto a new SIM with old number. Question is the quoted price doesn't mention that this is only for a NEW number. How many people now days change mobiles and accept a new number with all the hassle this involves. Bottom line is that Buy Mobiles is guilty of misleading advertising. My phone call today elicited no change and I will have to wait 24hrs for a manager to call me back! ps the HTC10 is great.

“Bad first time user experience”

I've recently purchased a Jawbone UP3 via Buy Mobile Australia and although I was a little dubious about using the service, I found online reviews to be positive, thus I went ahead with the purchase. As it was a birthday gift, I was concerned with the shipping and delivery times, however the website mentioned 7 days. As the order was placed (21/01), I immediately received a Star rating request for service, which was awkward as up to that point the only service received was an automated order system. Another surprise was an immediate email explaining the packing and delivery process identifying that warehouse packing could take up to 5 days and shipping up to 7 days, which was more than originally indicated, but a fair duration. Unfortunately, my delivery took 6 weeks, which was only packed and shipped on 15/02 (three weeks later) and delivered 06/03 (another 3 weeks). After delivery, I received a Star rating request for the product only and not the service. In summary, I'd suggest: - reconsider if it is a gift, which has to be available at required date - do not purchase during Chinees New Year if you are in a hurry - online ratings seems good and not a true reflection, because people will tend to give an immediate good rating after purchase, as opposed to ratings following full complement of service delivery.

“Credit Rating”

I have a good credit rating but as i'm young it isnt a long list. And due to this they refused my order after taking and then confirming my details. They offered to find me another option but after the scaremongering reviews, I thought better of it. I thought i'd ignore them at first having read a few good reviews but never again. Customer service was good but I don't understand why I can't have it as i'm working and selected an affordable contract.

“Order declined”

I had used this company a number of years ago without issue so did not hesitate to use them again for a recent order. So I was a little surprised to receive an email the following day to say my order had been declined "Due to previous activity with mobile phone contracts, ordered through the A1 Comms Group". When calling to find out why I was read a generic script saying that it could be due to a number of reasons. I pushed for an explanation and a few hours later was called back to be told that O2 had flagged me for terminating a contract early to go to a competitor! So my crime was paying off the remaining couple of months of my 24 month contract a little early, in full. I was offered the chance to proceed with the order, but on balance will be taking my business somewhere more appreciative for my custom thank you..

“Good until you have a problem”

Used this company for a few years, got call from them about new contract but the seller lied to me about numerous things and failed to deliver what was promised, I called "customer care" and although they were very nice they were no help, I had to chase them up quite a few times as they didn't bother calling back as promised. I will never use this company again

“Cashback not paid”

I would never use these again. Firstly because they take at least 56 days to pay each installment. 56 days! Secondly the cashback reclaim process is made as difficult as possible (you need to send in a special paper bar-coded token and paper copies of bills rather than pdf files). Thirdly, as you get to the end of your contract they just stop paying the cashback citing "technical difficulties". I'm still waiting for my final cashback payment and don't expect to receive it. I only got the previous one after about 6 months of pestering them. "Technical difficulties" is the same as not wanting to pay!

“No Cashback”

As many others have reported, no sign of my first cash-back payment despite an email in April advising payment would be made within 56 days. I've written to them today (couldn't get through on the phone) so will see what happens. They're in breach of contract so I will cancel my direct debit if necessary. My advise to anyone considering using them, stay well clear!

“Glad I read the reviews”

because the deal available on buymobiles.net was better than anything I could find on any other site (looking for a EE 4G+ Galaxy S5 deal) and given the site claims I would get my phone the next day if I orders in the next 1hr 55mins, I figured I better get in there quick so I could recieve the phoen tomorrow (which would work as I'm not in work so I could stay in and wait). I was just about to complete my order when I suddenly thought "Hmmm best check this site's reputation, seems the deal's a little too good to be true" (cheaper and next day delivery). Thank god I did! Page upon page upon page of nothing but negative reviews... Late phones, broken phones, no network coverage, no cashback, no customer service, delaying emails about 'system glitches'. Seems a classic 'money and run' site from the looks of this How do these sites get to continue, with such a poor quality of service? I'll head into town tomorrow instead and actually get the phone in person. Thanks for the heads up to the 100s of people who sadly had to endure buymobile.net, but thanks for sharing your problems with others.

“No cashback payment”

I was due to have my cashback payment paid into my account by 8th April 2014. After waiting a further week I contacted buymobilephones who told me they had IT issues that were delaying payments and that I would now receive my money by 13th May 2014. I then contacted them again on 13th (having still not received my payment) and they told me the were very sorry, but were still having IT issues, and that they had NO date for resolution! Coincidently, they also told someone else on another review site that they had fixed their `issues` on the 13th May 2014, and that they would now receive their payment!! I have had 4 phone contracts with them before, with no problems, but I would strongly advise against anyone dealing with them now, at least until they start seeing some `issues resolved` reviews. I have now received cashback payment for my order placed on 12/01/14 after emailing A1comms which is the parent company.
I emailed them on 24/07/14 and told them of the problems I had been having and full payment was paid into my account on 31/07/14. So a big thank you to them, and five stars ***** for their prompt action. :)

“Dreadful cashback/redemption excuses!”

I posted first redemption certificate 28/1/14 certified. Have given them 15 weeks for refund in bank. Enough time I think! I phoned this morning, lovly girl, first said my network told them I cancelled number ending in .... I said no, that was the sim you sent and had to be registered with the phone prior to having original number being ported. This young lady appologised that an email was not sent back on the 30th Jan, the day they received it. So they declined the refund although none of this was filtered back to me. Now it has to go back through the system and can take a while for the refund !!!! Buymobiles.net. I think you really do need to take all these bad reviews to heart and do something about your customers! We are your "bread & butter" and without customers you would not last out there in this cut throat world. Appologies mean nothing, we can all do that. Prompt action is needed! My wife is due for a new phone and renewed contract! She won't be coming your way I'm afraid! And it was she, who told me to take this deal!! Hmmm! “Do not buy.”

Okay, so I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Ace with a free PS4, which really isn't free since you're paying extra every month. I received the phone within days of order, which was pretty fast. However, they said the PS4would be be in stock within 28 days of receiving the phone, but it's been over 28 days and I still haven't got it nor I am receiving any more emails about the PS4. Disgraceful... Woudn't recommend this to anyone, especially their "free gift".

“Technical cover is a disgrace ”

If you don't cancel the tecnical cover by the first month they will charge you six months worth up front . That's £23.94 for nothing. I would stay away from a company that allows a third party to take your money for nothing.

The gadgethelpline is free for the first month, and then billed 6 months in advance and you can cancel down at any time, including within the first free month. The gadgethelpline does cover for any item in your household ie. sat nav's, games consoles, tablets etc for technical support and help in getting the best out of your products. This is covered on our website when placing the order and our sales team do explain this when ordering over the phone. You should have received an email from the gadgethelpline around 48 hours after you received your handset, to which you can reply requesting to cancel it down. If this wasn't received, please do call them and advise them accordingly.

I purchased a phone , had I wanted technical cover then there should at least have been a box to tick or another option.

“Very poor service”

“Great website, poor service, you need to be a millionaire.”

Simple ordering process, good, quick email comms. After that it all goes bad. My order (5s) was held pending ID check and employer letter. I sent Passport, driving licence and letter (I obscured my passport number, since they said it was only for DOB check). Email next day rejecting my ID, asking me to call; lines open 9am-9pm. Called at 8pm. "Lines close at 5pm"! Called next day after infinite hold was asked to resend info without obscured passport number (what ID check needs that level of information? its mobile phone not a shotgun!). I did so. Email next day saying order accepted but Out of Stock. No promise date. Email next day to say I have failed credit check, with classic rubbish that we cannot tell you why, contact the provider etc. [just so you know, I am in top 5% earners in UK and debt free]. I am guessing that they have over promised on stock and are rejecting orders that they cant fulfill.

“Next Day Delivery - Nope!”

Placed order on Sunday for next day delivery of Contract 5s. Email to say out stock but expecting some in very soon. Another email Tuesday to say phone is ready for dispatch but vodafone need me to email id, done immediately (and then a further 8 times) and to call them when done. I then get another 5 emails saying to call them, each time, I am asked if id has been sent - yes, I call vodaphone who confirm they have my id, but cannot help me in any other way as I need to deal with BuyMobiles. Phone calls cost a fortune and you wait for at least 10 mins, staff are pleasant but ineffectual. I asked if I could send my id to them for them to deal with vodaphone (cut out the middleman?) no!, Was promised it was all sorted and phone would be with me today - NO, ended up cancelling the order, so now out of pocket for phonecall costs and phoneless :(. Such a shame as if someone would have just contacted vodaphone, then me and accepted the info from me this could have been easily sorted.
