Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey :)
Why did I say hey 6 times your asking... well let me tell you.
Well I found this site TheLoop.com and it seems to be a pretty cool thing.
Of course it is a totally free site, or I wouldn't have signed up, since I am the world's cheapest person...
So what did it give me, well it gave me a ton of stuff, the site is literally stuffed with features.
Starting with blogs, groups, networking and dating features and ending with totally cool video conferencing and TV broadcasting (every user can broadcast from home using a webcam) and not forgetting open of the best looking and functional instant messengers I have seen on a web based site before.

A brief look at each feature:
Blogs: very nice, even though not much new under the sun.
They did add a nice feature that you can record a short (up to 2 minutes) of video and attach it to each one of your posts. The cool thing is you are not limited by the number of blogs and/or posts you can add so in reality you can create a whole show from short clips.

Groups: also, an old feature with a loop twist. Every user can open as many interest groups as he wishes and add tons of stuff for his members to play and react with, like:
Polls - ask a question and all the members can answer and see the results.
Links - add links to content from other sites regarding the group.
Gallery - add images (up to 100) so that all members can view them.
Video chat - totally cool, if you have a group, or are a member of one that has a number of online users, you can start a video conference and invite them for a deep discussion of who is hotter, Christina Aguilera or Britney spears :)
Of course there are the general topics and replies also :)

Video chat: TOTALLY COOL STUFF!!!! I mean there giving me a way to chat with my friends that are currently scattered all over the planet in a high quality, no download needed (flash application), FREE video conference room.... need I say more?!? Well if I was to I would add that there is also a text chat in each room for people without webcams :)

LoopTV: Reality TV The next generation! Paris Hilton would wet her panties again if she got hold of this. This is true reality TV, any user (with a webcam) can hook up and become a broadcaster. Plus if you take the extra 10 seconds and fill out what they call a "Broadcaster profile" you will get a few extra and cool features, like recording during a show (up to 3 minutes a pop) and a pretty decent rating program. Each guest can vote on your shows "quality" and that get added to you profile stats. Also each video you record also can get its own rating. I also heard rumours from one of one day adding an "American Idol" type contest there... fingers crossed :)

All in all I loved the feel of the site, designed very well even though there is a ton of stuff in it and it's totally easy to get lost in the profiles and content.

I also recommend people get there as soon as possible before all the good user names are taken, since as the site is relatively new the user pool is shallow... its the first time in years I have been able to register with my real name :)
