I got one of the new Derbi GPR 125's this august as my first ever bike, with the intention of using it for a bit of fun on the weekends and having my car for the week... however the car is now virtually used! For £3000 brand new it's great value for money and the amount of fun you can have on it is unbelievable.

The ride is very comfortable with the bars slightly higher up than others so not too much pressure on the wrists and the pegs positioned nicely. i'm 6ft 4 and have no issues with an achey back of anything at all.

It really looks like a bigger bike and apart from the L plates theres no give away that it's only a 125 at all.

Theres been no problems with reliablity so far and there were no problems at all at the first service however only owning the bike for 2 months i shall wait and see how it goes.

It handles very well keeping up with bigger bikes through the corners. it's very stable round the bends and you get alot of feel through the bars.

I'm getting around 150 miles out of a tank at the moment with is being used for both commuting to college and for weekend blasts on country roads.

Bought a derbi gpr125 on a 56 plate... wiring was terrible, nothing worked and ended up selling the bike without even riding it...thought it was a one off so....
got a derbi gpr 125 on an 06 plate that had been highly maintained simply because i loved the way it looked.
very nippy bike but thats about all its good for.
compared to the honda nsr 125 or the cbr 125 or the rs it feels unsafe to drive.
im always living in fear its high reving 2 stroke engine is going to seize up on me seen as ever o ...

I have recently purchased a second hand GPR 125 needs a few bits doin to it - brake pads new chain and sprockets etc, wasnt very well looked after but thought id have it as a project as i cant ride it yet, hasnt covered 3000 miles yet on the clock but i reckon its had the speedo replaced at some point judging by the general condition of mechanical parts either that or its been consistantly neglected and thrashed, doesnt worry me too much but it does seem to need a lot of warming up before it ca ...

The Derbi GPR 125 is beautiful, fast, elegant, BIG, reliable, great acc, 0-60 in 3 secs if not less. It feels as if just doesn't stop gaining speed. Everybody looks at it and whats one. Acc is amazing, exhaust under the seat is awsome, top speed is great, power is great. Best gear shift i've ever felt. It is a bit heavy to turn at stops. Seizes when pulling away in low revs.

Recently bought a new Derbi GPR 125 and so far I ' m very pleased. Very reliable and easy to ride, great learner bike. I started with mine standard restricted, then just a changed a fuse and the beast was unleashed. Very fast machine but no surprises, good breaking and smooth gears. Its a large bike, very close to a full size racer, great if your tall like me. If you are after something that looks the part and is NOT a RS or Mito then this is definitely up there, there are lots of aftermarket pa ...

Ok so I buy this derbi gpr 125. Just traded in my scooter. So I get outside and try to start it, took a bit off convincing and it was a cold day, so get that going, yeah this is feeling good. . . Stall. Ok take a deep breath. Eventually I get going an ok. Get home stalled quite a lot but nothing to be concerned about. . Is it?? So time goes on and then indicator switch breaks, take it back to shop and they fix it. Off I go again then one day on my way to my friends the front disc brake seizes wi ...

Truly is a good bike and if your looking for a 125 then its a good one especially for beginers ive been riding all different bikes for 3 years now and there is something special about it one more thing the breaking is brilliant you are in totally control of the bike. Don't take notice that it burns to much fuel - it basically run on air.

Very pretty I love this bike top notch to ride. Dream 125cc bike.
The look to this bike looks abit flimsy like a pair of cheap trainers but overall I coudnt think of another model of 125 that could compare to this beauty.

The first thing you think of when you see the Derbi GPR125, is the look of it. It looks a lot bigger than it should do for a 125, I nearly walked past it in the show room thinking it was a Triumph Daytona! I think the overall length, seat height and width is a few cm bigger than the RS for example. The kind of style of the fairings is strinking, modern and very sexy, that gives it a bigger bike look, (from a distance!)

Of course when you get up close you see that the bike is not bulging from ...
