Absolutely great restaurant! Very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff.
The food tastes great, definitely the best Thai food I have ever had and is great value for money.

Quite disappointed to be honest - the photo's on the outside do not match the restaurant - nasty melamine tables (no tablecloths) canteen cutlery.

We had the set menu at £16.95 a head - the starters were plonked on a standard plate - and were small (one spring roll, one pork on toast and one satay chicken each).

The mains were ok - the sweet & sour pork was nice but had sliced tomatoes in it. The chicken with basil was ok. The best was the beef thai curry.

At Lantong Thai the staff are so friendly and entertaining. They make us feel welcomed like old friends each time we return. The food is the best thai food we have tasted in this country (and we have tried a lot!) We cant recommend it more strongly! (read more)

“The friendly couple that own the Lantong Thai...”

The friendly couple that own the Lantong Thai restaurant are such nice people. They make the most wonderful food, served in a very nice atmosphere, at a reasonable price.

This place is like a hidden treasure. It's not bang in the middle of town, so you would miss it if you didn't know it was there. It's across the road and toward town from the Nightclub Oceana.
