This IBM T43 is an excellent laptop, I got an even better deal on mine from Tier1online they have a special offer on and are selling them off at £199 including vat and delivery, I thought it was too good to be true so I called them and spoke to a sales guy who assured me it was a genuine offer.

Had IBM Thinkpad t43p over 2 years and it still works as gd as new
I still havent found a better laptop to replace it. The thinkpad still beats all the laptops in the high street stores even after 2 years
I will never buy anything else but I'm annoyed lenovo have ditched the ibm name as I think lenovo sounds cheap. (read more)

The IBM Thinkpad T43 is a great business laptop, but is also a laptop anyone can enjoy. Unless your looking for a desktop replacment or a computer with 17/15 widescreen's made for multimedia options and gaming then this is right for you. This is fine to watch DVD's on. It runs fast and has tons of features. Very thin at 1 inch at thinnest point. In buying this laptop I wanted a very thin and light latop that ran pretty fast. Yeah, a great computer to have. But a very annoying miss is the lack of Bluetooth. Since most good mobiles feature Bluetooth these days, having Bluetooth in your mobile, and not being able to communicate to your computer through it is frustrating.
<br>One the good side, it has useful hardware buttons for volume control and mute functions, which my previous Acer travelmate didn't have.
