We flew to Malta with British Jet in 2007 and had no major complaints with the service. It is a no-frills approach and included a hot meal and staff seemed helpful. On our flight the pilot was particularly informative. The plane itself seemed a little old, but we felt confident that it was in full working order and we arrived at our destination safely. Value for Money, Staff seemed friendly, very informative lady pilot.

They changed the flight several times. I cancel my booking according to EEC and passengers rights. I want a refund of my money and they refused to pay, even the taxes they charge for. They didn't contact me once about changes they made. I booked for departure 02.07. They changed it 04.07 and to 05.07. the last is 03.07.
Since I come from Norway this means extra cost with hotels in London and to rebook my tickets from Norway.- Read Salmonbay's review (76 words)

Staff are friendly and helpful. My child became ill once we boarded and the staff helped her. They are good value for money. Food was good and I will fly with British jet again. Found them better than EasyJet and their flights are affordable with no hidden charges like some other airlines.- Read Guest's review (53 words)

I travel around the world and for British Jet being a cheap airline I have to say it is outstanding
I have not come across any airway that gives you free hot meals on flight and they are really nice too - especially the chicken in pesto sauce.- Read angie gray's review (117 words)

Staff at London Office very abrupt and bad mannered. How were they employed by British Jet to be responsible for dealing with the Public.
Don't no yet till I have actually flown with them next Friday but so far I think i will stick with Air Malta . Have had no reason to complain about their staff during the past 5 years and I fly to Malta 3/4 time a year.- Read Jean Gore's review (165 words)

This airline was a disaster from flight out to Malta to return. OK! flight out was lack of information - not told we were going via Newcastle which caused a bit of a panic at first.
Check-in was at 6.00am in Malta - we were first in queue. By time queue to end of aisle - still no staff. At 6.30 am told by Air Malta lady (very kind) that plane delayed and Rep would be there at 9.00am to tell us what was happening. She later returned and said Rep would be with us in half an hour, then again when ...- Read BigOXO's review (639 words)

This airline are totally lacking in communication skills - as you will see from my posting about the return flight. If you can take another carrier - do so. They have one aircraft - an MD90 leased from Hello (Swiss but doesn't run like a well oiled watch) - which has seen plenty of hours. Lands like a bag of spuds being thrown at the runway from a mile up. Very noisy (twin rear engine) - get near the front - I bought earplugs for the return flight - bliss!
My review here is for this flight a ...- Read BigOXO's review (337 words)

Most airlines are pretty bad . Airline food is generally rubbish. British Jet have the same food but at least the seats are comfortable and the staff try their best with the products they have.- Read Bravodelta's review (127 words)

We arrived at Glasgow airport and checked in with plenty of time to spare. We kept a check on the board which told us that the flight had been delayed by 45 minutes until 8:30pm. At 8:00pm we were directed to gate 27 along with all the other passengers we only knew to do this by checking the boards, no verbal announcements were made. 8:30pm came and went with still no announcements being made to let us know what was happening. Eventually, at 9:00pm, a man came out and told us that there was ...- Read steinbeck's review (753 words)

Our outward flight with British Jet was delayed by 19 hours. At no time were any of the passengers given any information. We were in the airport for the first 6 hours and were not offered refreshment of any kind, not even a cup of tea. There was no rep from the company in the airport to tell us anything. We were sent to a hotel for the night, with no breakfast. The next day we were again given no information and a £5 voucher for refreshment. This is all we received for the whole 19 h ...- Read FLC's review (145 words)

Flown with BritishJet several times since it began its operations to Newcastle and Leeds Bradford. All flights have been either on time or ahead of schedule. It is the cheapest airline that flys to Malta from the North-East of England. Highly recommended airline! 10/10- Read mw89's review (71 words)

I was not told of their policy until after I had booked, leaving me with no option but to pay the excess baggage. With a wheelchair this can be a hefty amount.
Disabled passengers need to be aware of the above when flying with British jet.- Read pennypooch's review (80 words)

I have recently travelled to Malta and back with British Jet. I have nothing but words of praise for them. Apart from the fact that the price was one third of British Airways and AirMalta, the crew was extremely helpful since I was travelling alone with three small children.
I highly recommend British Jet.- Read sistinam's review (63 words)
