Good Points: A smooth red, never mind all the wine-buff's stuff about nose, bouquet, and overtones - it's a great taste, easy on the throat, not harsh or sharp, no after-taste on the tongue. Very potent, though, but clear head in the morning. Goes with Italian food (of course!) but anything else you would take a red wine with, this will be fine. A bit too much for fish, though.
Bad Points: You can't easily buy it! Sainsbury used to stock it, used to sell out almost as soon as they put it on the shelves, but they haven't had it for nearly 2 years. Difficult to source retail, but have found a website which delivers - a pit pricey this way, but it's well worth it!
General comments: Lamberti's Pinot Grigio isn't a patch on their Soave - again, difficult to buy - but any wine with this label is good.
