    Good Points: none


    Bad Points: length of delivery time, lack of communication, no response to emails


    General comments: I used to use Directfoto Express Film Service many yrs ago however after an order which they charged me twice for and goods not rec'd I moved to Bonus Print. However for some unknown reason I decided to try them again. What a waste of time. I ordered photos on the 29/5/9 and wassent a email to say they were dispatched 1/6/9. I have still not had them even though the money has been taken from my account. After 3 email I have now finally got a reply which states due to a problem with their printer they have had to arrange to get this fixed. The printer will not be fixed for another 3 days!!! therefore even though they said the photos had been dispatched clearly they hadnt. I wouldve appreciated an email to inform me of this when I had placed the order. I have now decided to go back to bonus print as I doubt I will ever receive these photos anyway.

    My original order with Directfoto Express Film Service was sent way back in December 07. Despite 20 or so e-mails and numerous attempts at telephoning as of today's date, 06 September 2008, I still have not received my goods or a refund yet.
    Did not receive a response to e-mails.
    Telephone calls go unanswered whenever I call.
    Did not receive any reply to letters.
    Goods never received yet.

    I am very disappointed with the service provided by Directfoto Express Film Service. They boast of fast delivery times, but, quite frankly, this appears to be hog-wash. I shall be going back to Bonusprint. Didn't realise how good they were until I sent my files for printing at Directfoto. I sent them electronically 8 days ago and am still waiting for the prints. With BP the longest wait was 3 working days, and in some cases the prints would be delivered next day. Just wish that, like others, I h ...

    ordered an ink cartridge 2 weeks ago... did receive a dispatch email, but as yet nothing has arrived. numerous emails sent by me and no reply received yet.

    Oh dear oh dear, it would seem as if I too am just another in a long line. Ordered X8 rechargeable batteries 1 month ago from Directfoto Express Film Service. It would seem as if I faired slightly better than most, I actually got an email from them to my first query saying that new stock was expected the following week and my batteries would be sent out as soon as possible. But guess what?????? They have not come yet and yes i am not holding out much hope, at least my order was only £ ...

    I wish I had had the foresight to look for comments on Directfoto before placing my order. Luckily my order was for only a few pounds. I ordered goods over a month ago - my money was taken, and after I emailed them last week, I was given the reason that they were awaiting more goods in stock to be dispatched!

    I too wish I had seen this thread earlier. I placed an order for printed items. The payment was taken (via Worldpay) straight away. Now this was only a week ago but on trying to log in and check the progress of my order I found my account does not even exists! After reading all the bad reviews on many sites I have no expectation of receiving my order.

    I have always used directfoto to process my prints until now! Money was taken from my account and photos failed to upload, was told i would be refunded - has not happened yet, stupidly in the meantime i resubmitted my order and have now been charged twice with no refund appearing to come my way. I am so disappointed by the service i have received, they have not answer my phone calls or emails.

    Ordered batteries qty 40, only 8 delivered, but full charge taken, to add insult to injury wrong ones delivered, returned for replacement, was sent correct batteries and was re-charged again. Unable to get a response of any sort from directfoto.

    Ordered a digital photo frame on the 13th dec from Directfoto Express Film Service www.directfoto.co.uk, money taken out same day. Emailed several time for a delivery date no answer. Canceled order 23rd dec still waiting for money. Emailed several times again but they don't respond.

    I sent a 35mm film for processing on 24th November 2007 and never got it or the prints back.
    Sent an order for films with a cheque on 5th January 2008, this was cashed but no films ever arrived.
    I emailed twice, got one reply (a month ago) but since then have heard nothing.

    Took money immediately on ordering and SD card but did not deliver. Had to chase by e-mail and phone before eventual delivery after 6 weeks. Some e-mails unanswered and phones lines usually either divert to recorded message or are engaged.

    This business previously seemed okay to deal with, but despite acknowledging that my order was short, and being reminded,
    the remainder hasn't been received from Directfoto Express Film Service.

    Ordered goods last October - took money instantly - still waiting goods (confirmed can no longer supply) still had no refund - several emails from them to say on its way!!

    Directfoto Express Film Service didn't deliver my goods. E-mails not answered, fortunately my order was only a few pound which I will write off as experience.

    Duracell batteries ordered LAST OCTOBER. Money taken instantly. They have actually replied twice(!) to my emails saying that they are now on stock and will be sent. But nothing received of course.

    Having got no response from this company (and no goods) and having realised that because they were in Guernsey it was impossible to take legal action, I eventually contacted Nationwide Building Society and filled in a form stating what had happened. I had paid using my Nationwide VISA debit card and Nationwide refunded my money in full.

    Ordered 3 packs of four rechargeable batteries on 4.11.07 valued at £16.47p. The cash was deducted from my bank account the following day. The goods were not delivered by 24th Dec 07 when I cancelled the order and requested my money back. In reply to Emails I was told the items were still not in stock and my request for a refund would be forwarded to their Accounts Section!! This company did not answer my phone calls. Needless to say no refund has been made - one month later.

    I ordered some blank DVDs on 17 December 2007 and my credit card was debited on 18th. Despite sending a dozen e-mails, nothing as arrived as of 22 January 2008.I also tried to order a photo jigsaw on 8 December 2007. The upload of the photo failed after they had taken my money. I emailed them for a refund and they responded saying it would be processed. As of 22 January I have had no refund.
