    My daughter got married at Orchardleigh 2 weeks ago and we are still on a high!! food, service, everthing totally amazing. Best compliment, my very discerning best friend who travels extensively world-wide & crusies several times a year said she couldn't find fault with anything, she thought the food, venue, room & service was superb - we all did. We paid for the pre-paid bar (about £20 per head). Guests paid for their own rooms, but not having to pay for drinks was a big plus for all the young people staying over. I stayed up until 3:00am and the bar finally closed at 5:00am. My phone hasn't stopped ringing ever since, friends were just totally 'blown away'one guest said 'it was the best day of my life!'
    Like everything you need to be organised but you will certainly get plenty of help from one of the wedding organisers - we had Nikki Burbidge - she is fab - really on the ball. Everyone wants to go back for a mega-party next year!!

    We had so many compliments on our choice of venue. The food was absolutely fantastic. We went 'off list' with our own choice of wedding breakfast and were delighted when each dish came out and exceeded our expectations. Everything ran smoothly on the day and although the bridal suite was not ready on time (adding to the nerves) that really was the only bad point of the day. We were able to room freely as though the house were our own, which was fantastic.

    Orchardleigh House is a lovely venue, great atmosphere but poor communication.Despite written & verbal notification they set up too many tables which caused confusion, setting up, florist going away & making up extra etc. Breakfast was shambolic, despite knowing number of guests staying they only laid tables for 60 & were slow to relay so people ended up having to eat in the hall, ran out of tea, coffee, plates, juice etc because no one was overseeing.     Orchardleigh was a perfect wedding venue in every respect. Extremely helpful staff, beautiful setting, delicious food and incredible touches everywhere such as real candles in the dining rooms, wonderfully restored carvings, etc. The venue supplies a wedding coordinator who really does everything to make your day run smoothly, meaning that you don't have to even think about timings etc on the day and can just relax and enjoy.     Orchardleigh a stunning venue, and the house and informal atmosphere are charming, and we loved it, the house, rooms, and the whole atmosphere of huge log fires, mulled , wine, christmas trees, and a lovely informal venue were exactly what we wished for, and we got married 13th Dec 2008.     my daughter was married on 15th dec 2008 at orchardleigh i must thank all the staff for making us all feel welcome and what a lovely time we all had,the food was good the place is spotless so thank you all for making my daughter and son in laws day great

    I married at Orchardleigh on 20th October. My new husband and I had such a fantastic day I felt I needed to write this before flying off on our honeymoon. Everything about the day was perfect, Orchardleigh staff made sure the day lived up to all my dreams. Nothing was too much trouble for the coordinator or any of the staff.     My son and his fiance were married in the Orchardleigh church and had their reception at the house. The wedding service was quite beautiful and very relaxed. The reception was exceptional with the food lovely and the service extremely good and efficient. The staff were happy and helpful. The evening was also excellent and there was no rush to finish. Also no rush the next morning, even though another wedding was about to happen.

    We went to a beautiful wedding at Orchardleigh House, everything went seamlessly, the food very nice and plenty of it. As we said, we found some of the rooms to be a bit cold and dark. There are no frills in the rooms beside en suites (not in all of the rooms either) and no tv or radio. However the setting is perfect and the staff make sure that everything is ok without hassling guests.

    We are writing to say how impressed we were with the care we were given by the staff at Orchardleigh. There was one member of staff in particular who was brilliant with extreme good humor and professional attention to detail in taking care of us.

    Orchardleigh House - My friends will tell you I am impossible to please, but this place is faultless! Everything about it was my dream come true. Our coordinator was great! Their relaxed attitude and inability to get stressed was just what I needed from start to finish. My husband, my mum and dad and our best man all commented on what a difference it made having a person with such a calming influence, just when it was needed!     The team at Orchardleigh made our day so perfect. We really had the most awesome day and much of that was down to the work behind the scenes. We barely noticed they were there which made the house feel like our own. All the guests were blown away. We really appreciated everything that was done for us and hope to be back in the near future.

    A big thank you to all at Orchardleigh House for all your help leading up to the wedding and on the day. A special thank you for the help you gave me during the morning, I don't think I would have coped without you!

    We had a fantastic day and a lovely honeymoon. Shame it is all over, we don't know what to do with ourselves now and Its not great being back at work either!

    We fell in love with Orchardleigh House when we first saw it and booked soon after. There were a few concerns such as difficulty getting hold of anyone on the phone to confirm the booking and little communication in the run up to the big day, but I have to say that it was an absolutely wonderful wedding!

    Thank you so much for helping to organise such a fantastic day for us. It was the best day of our lives and a large part of that was down to the venue. Everyone has commented on how grand and spectacular the setting is but down to earth and welcoming at the same time, a difficult combination to manage but done perfectly by you and the team.     they pulled off such a great day for us, it made our special day even better! The food was fantastic and commented on by everyone and such a friendly atmosphere, the staff went out of their way to help.

    We got married at Orchardleigh on the 18th May 2008 and I have to say it was the most special day ever. Orchardleigh as a venue is fantastic: food, the rooms, the bar, the staff... We were looked after by Sarah Foster and she did everything we could have asked of her & more. The girls and guys on the day did everything without being too in your face. There is a sense that they are too layed back, I suppose, but that what makes the venue special, comfortable and unique. They couldn't do more too ...

    I got married recently at Orchardleigh and all i can say is WOW. The day was perfect, i had a coordinator throughout the day and she helped out with everything. The food service was faultless and the next morning they had boxed our wine and cake for us to take away. Even helped me pack the car with all the flowers we had which were also maginficent. I found all the staff very help and even met an owner who drank and danced with us. It was my dream come true.
