It has been an ambition of mine for many years to go to Rigby and Peller to buy a bra, as I thought they were going to be really special. I went to the Mayfair store without an appointment . They were quiet and I was seen quickly. The advisor was very pleasant and visually assessed me as a 32H fitting. I have been wearing a perfectly functional but rather dull 34 FF Fantasie bra for years. I was hoping for something just as well fitting but a bit more colourful and pretty. She helped,me on... Maybe I caught them on a busy day but I found the experience very rushed. The fitter did tell me correctly that I was wearing the wrong sized bra and I am grateful for that. However, the selection of bras was very limited. I asked for bras suitable to wear under thin t-shirts but was only offered ones with lace. I bought two, which is my own fault, as they weren't really what I wanted but I did feel hurried. Unfortunately, trying them on briefly didn't reveal how very uncomfortable they... (read more)

Today i was treated beautifully at rigby and peller in westfield shepherds bush. It is so unusual to b treated like a human being. Victoria Ansere served me and was wonderful. I am delighted with rigby and pellers prima Donna bras and would highly recommend them. You cant go elsewhere after buying in rigby and peller. Was recommended by a friend to try Rigby & Peller. Staff were very helpful and seemed to know what they were talking about. I was in the shop for over an hour and a half. In the end I purchased 2 bras £144.00 (£72.00 each).I asked the assistant if they sold t-shirt bras because I wanted 2 everyday bras I have only been wearing them for a week and already the straps dig into my skin, the lace makes me itch and they are too tight around the ribs.I thought these bras would be the best ever,... Purchased a bikini wore it twice. It faded and i now have a white line up the back of the bottoms. They were kept correctly and washed correctly. Despite several phone calls and emails to Rigby Pellar i have to date recieved no reply. I then purchased a Bra and Knickers a year later i paid extra to have them delivered in time for a wedding. I thought things might be different a year later unfortunately not. Items did not turn up until two weeks later after my chosen date.No apology again... (read more)

I made a special journey to their Knightsbridge outlet to have a fitting. I was sold three bras and, despite advising that they felt tight was told they were the correct fitting. I wore one bra for the day at Ascot and was in agony, it was ill fitting and far too tight across the back. When I read the label they had given me a size 34". As a size 16 who normally buys 38 or 40 I was not surprised the bra hurt me. I obviously could not send one bra back as it had been worn, but returned... (read more)

I wanted to find a decent strapless bra for my wedding, as well as a t-shirt bra for day-to-day wear, so I booked a fitting at the Knightsbridge store, expecting to pay a little more than normal for something that would fit perfectly and last well. However, I was BLOWN AWAY by the prices, which seemed to start from about £80 for the simplest bra! The assistant stood and watched me as I undressed, which I found very uncomfortable and intimidating. She immediately knew my back size just... (read more)

I bought a bra for my daughter and I in Feb 2011 spending £182.85. As my bra was expensive (£71.95) I can count on one hand how many times I have worn and hand washed it. Last month I tried it on again and to my horror I discovered the wire had come out in one of the cups. I hadnt even noticed this or found the wire so heaven knows where it went!! Contacted R&P (after spending a few weeks looking for the receipt!)by email and got a response from Elizabeth Manston saying I could have a... (read more)

I received vouchers as a gift! Yippee! I thought, having used the Knightsbridge branch for years! Not so! The rude, poorly trained, and frankly unkind, mean staff at blue water made sure my gift quickly became a nightmare... I have never experienced such poor, shoddy down right rude service and actually left the store in tears... I was devastated! I had been struggling to find a nice bridal set in a G cup so headed to London to the holy grail - Rigby & Peller. Over the phone they informed be they had good stock levels but when I arrived they had a terrible selection - I left very dissapointed and without underwear. They tld me I was shopping out of season (July?????) and new bridal stock wouldn't arrive till late september - the wedding is mid September! I bought a £45 bra which developed a fault with the shoulder straps, took it back and was accused of not washung it properly. I explained it was only about a month old,she very gleefully pointed out that as it was over 28days old I could not have a refund or exchange as she had to send it away to be examined which would take up to 6 weeks. I stood my ground and explained about goods fit for purpose etc and then she tried to get me to move away from the till area I assume so other customers... (read more)

I am disgusted by the service I encountered at Rigby and Peller in Knightsbridge. I found the bra I wanted, when asked the assitant for matching thong - was told to go look in a basket. Put this comment down to them being busy. It was the fact that I was ignored when I went to pay for my goods. I waited for 5 mins for someone to come and take my payment .... when someone eventually surfaced and went behind the counter - she totally blanked me. Well at this point I walked out - I was so... I also had a very poor experince here - bra was faulty - she refused a refund based on it being over 28days old - clearly confused between the consumer goods act and a goodwill exchange. Wrote twice to David Kenton their MD but not had the courtesy of a reply - Use them to measure and then go to M&S !!

Rigby and Peller Conduit street.
Really impressed with the fitting experience and went away with three great fitting bras. I looked a million dollars However, really not impressed with the long term durability of the bras. Every single other bra I have have lasted longer then these. By the third handwash one in particular looked "tired and worn" and one of the fastners was poorly sewn on. The wire on one bra has broken in two places. I completed a questionnaire and ticked the box for them...

I visited from Australia to buy my marriage vow renewal lingerie in Dec 2009. The Knightsbridge store was great ... in and out in under 30 minutes. What I thought was going to be a trial turned out to be so easy ... I almost enjoyed the experience. The lingerie then went on a world trip. It fitted, it was so comfortable and it stood the rigors of the trip. I have never felt so well supported ever. So much so that I have just bought more on line. Just as easy just as professional. Is it worth... (read more)

I visited the Mayfair branch of Rigby and Peller, a long-awaited treat for myself (I'm 73!). The service in-store was good and I purchased a bra which they arranged to post to me as they didn't have a black one available in store. Imagine my horror on receiving a CHERRY coloured bra! I was gutted and immediately phoned to find out what had happened. The assistant promised to get back to me but didn't. I then had to phone again to chase. All in all I think the service is appalling... (read more)

Fantastic, I wanted to bin all of my old bras when I came back from the fitting- nothing fitted as well!
I would recommend this to anyone. Its not as cheap as an M&S bra of course but it is sooo worth the investment.
The styles are pretty and the ladies in the shop spent such a long time making sure that I had the perfect fit.

I visited the Rigby & Pellar shop in Westfield several months ago, I had previously purchased lingerie from their Bluewater store where the assistant made sure that the bra fitted and was helpful, alas at Westfield it was different story, at first I was asked to comeback as they were too busy, and I was prepared to do this, but just as we were leaving the shop I was called back and told that they could serve me, I was given the bra that I had requested and pointed to the changing cubicles,... I went to my appointment at the Bluewater branch hoping to get what I wanted for my son`s impending Wedding. I took the outfit as they suggested and it was a good idea. Lora was very helpful and I was in there almost an hour. They looked great in the shop and I bought a body for the Wedding and 3 bras and 4 pairs of knickers as well as they all fitted so well.

I thought buying underwear at Rigby and Peller would be a pleasurable experience and a real treat in the lead up to my wedding. Instead it's been extremely frustrating. The service I received in the shops was good, however, having travelled to London I was disappointed with the lack of choice. I left the shop with nothing. Apparently alot of people are the same size and therefore they were low on stock. If it is a popular size surely you'd make sure the stock level was sufficient? The shop... (read more)

I went to Rigby & Pellar for two bras - one firmly fitted to support me for an impending breast operation and a really pretty one to cheer me up for later afterwards. The service was superb, the cup size I had been wearing was far too small and was the main reason for past poor fit - girls go and get fitted properly and gawp at the wonderful and sensuous selection they have.
I came away with four quality bras - one for every occasional - at the cost of a recent service to my car. Expensive...

I have visited Rigby & and peller Knightsbridge on two occassions to purchase bras. On the first the shop assistant took one look at me and just brought the correct bra without having to measure me it fitted perfectly. I too had a horrible experience at Rigby & Peller, Knightsbridge - for so long I had treasured the idea of going to such a well spoken of establishment and was very excited to be getting my wedding underwear there. I've found it impossible to redeem my internet gift voucher at Rigby and Peller. The system is completely inflexible. The fitting and service was absolutely excellent, and the underwear extremely comfortable. Unfortunately whilst washing the bra I discovered a split in the fastening. This would not have been a problem and I was happy to have a replacement. However, never dreaming that I would have to return anything I threw the receipt away. My daughter and I went for her to be fitted at Rigby and Peller, Brent Cross, yesterday. The assistant immediately knew what my daughter needed. I visited the Rigby and Peller store next to Harrods. Although this is clearly a shop for very posh ladies indeed, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and made to feel like valued customers from the moment we stepped through the door. The fitter was lovely and instantly diagnosed that I'd been wearing the wrong bra size. She brought me a good selection of bras to try, from everyday to wonderfully sexy, even though I have a well above average cup size. Not only are the bras... (read more)

I brought the miraclesuit from Rigby and Peller, as I was bridesmaid at my friends wedding, and the dress called for underwear that shaped your body perfectly.
The suit is great, but it's made to smooth your silhouette and make sure everything is in the right place and stays there, but not to actually make you loose weight, so make sure you buy the right size, any smaller will just squash you and not have the desired effect.

I went for a fitting in the Rigby and Peller shop on Conduit Street, and I have never felt more comfortable or confident in my underwear.
Since then I have bought several items from the Rigby and Peller website, and even when a product I ordered was out of stock they kept me fully informed on delivery times and when the item was dispatched.
You can create a wish list and save your favourite lingerie sets and send them to your boyfriend as a 'gentle' reminder.

Expensive and inflexible shop. I am very disappointed as I made a special journey to get the bra from bluewater branch. Unable to exchange the bra even though I was advised by the shop assistant who was not very happy with the fitting at the time of sale that I could exchange it if I am not completely happy with my purchase. They went back on their words! I will never recomend the store to anyone and will never patronise this store again. I am now stuck with an expensive bra which is not even fit for purpose. Cheaper and better bras in M&S. You will also enjoy a pleasant after sales service. Does not even deserve ONE STAR.
