The accuracy , price and handling are all great points. The BSA Ultra is a good efficient and above all accurate rifle, once partnered with a HW silencer its one of the greatest rifles i have ever heard.

Just bought this gun today so I haven't had a chance to test it out on quarry but I am confident that it will perform well. I tested it out and managed to group pellets out to 25 yards with superb accuracy. I haven't had a chance to test it out at further ranges yet. The BSA Ultra is a pleasure to load, cock and shoot and being lightweight is easy to hold in any stance, the BSA Ultra seems very powerful and the lack of recoil and noise a pleasure compared to my BSA superstar springer.

Very happy with the Ultra, a well balanced weapon, comfortable and easy to use, would recommend as a hunting weapon.
I target at 35-40 meters and am impressed with its consitant accuracy (achieving 1" grouping at 40mtrs).
The only down side is the scopes restrictive fast target acquisition, I have a diopter rear sight wich will fit the rail but unable to locate a suitable matching foresight.

You really need to change the silencer. i put a wierauch
on mine and it just give a light ping when you shoot
very accurate out to about 45 yards after that i dont try..my groups are to big to try to take life at that distance, but anything up to that or probably beyond if your a better shot and its deadly

Ive had this gun for about 3 weeks now and i love it i hardily had to zero the sights and once i did i couldnt miss a 10p piece at 25 yards and ive only been shooting seriously for about 4 months. Due to its short length and light weight its so easy to handle and keep the crosshair steady.
Over all you cant go wrong with it its worth every penny!

Had the item three years ? years now ..
Very impressed with it ..
Dispatched 1/2 a seven stone fish box of rabbits in 20 minutes on one occaison ..
On another request to clear a holiday centre , out of season, cleared in excess of 50 in two visits in a 70 hour period .
Best claimed shot over 73 paces dropped a rabbit 'stone still' ..
The pellet that has grown on me is the Diablo 1.4 grain .
Power can be a problem as pellets can straight through so leaving the quarry to run off ..

I've had my (FAC) BSA Ultra now for eight months and the gun performs flawlessly! I was initially attracted to the short streamlined carbine for it's elegant looks.
Accuracy it has plenty of mine likes Crosman Premier and Crosman Pointed pellets. It also digests others like Gamo Hunter, JSB Exacts with very good accuracy.
I use this airgun as a compact accurate ratting precision tool, I've dispatched many rats with my little Ultra carbine .
My Ultra delivers about 16-17 f.p.e. which is plent ...

Excellent field rifle for hunting will kill rabbits at 30 yds easily. light pointable and accurate, what else could you want. The BSA Ultra is a great gun and i recommend it to anyone

The micro movement loading system - or whatever bsa call it, is a good idea, but it's not as micro as you may believe. Moving both hands/fingers from your grip to reload is obviously twice the movement as moving only one hand, e.g. using the old bolt action system (e.g. my AA s410) also, the spring loaded 'probe' is rather noisy. Now I have updated my ultra multi shot with a better silencer (the one supplied is good, but only if your group of prey is far away and deaf! No-no, that's an exaggera ...

had mine for 2 months know and i had my first full day shooting today, had 6 pigeons cuople of rats on the farm. they went down nice and easy no problem.

As above, an excellant gun to buy, i have had mine for 6 months now and it knocks rabbits and other vermin down no bother, i must stress that mine is the multishot, its superb.

The Ultra is my first PCP rifle. Having been used to shooting a BSA Lightning and a Meteor prior to that, the Ultra, with its lack of rcoil is a real pleasure to use. Charging the rifle with a stirrup pump is easy enough as is the overall operation of loading.

A really well put together rifle from BSA. Very accurate and will outshoot most shooters. Disposed of the original silencer and used the HW replacement. It does not disturb the neighbours. Hi power scope puts the pellet on target even in low light conditions.this was a replacement for an Air Arms TX200 which was way too loud.

This is a good alround gun. The BSA Ultra air rifle has very good accuracy. It is well worth the money.

I think the ultra is a brilliant gun for the price of it. It feels good while shooting with, I've had no problems while I have been shooting with it. The only thing that I don't like is the shots you get from it. Apart from that, it is best guns I have ever had.

I think it is a good little gun for a wood and for long distance walks, because it's light and you will be able to get better shots with it in the small gaps you will be waiting in.

I had the BSA Ultra Multishot for 4 days now and i have been out every night shooting. What more can i say i love the gun! I was going to buy the Air Arms s410 but after holding both guns I felt a lot more solid and comfy with the BSA. And boy did I make the right choice.
The gun is so light and accurate is a perfect gun for hunting.
I changed the silencer as soon as I bought the gun and put the new weihrach silencer and what a difference!!
Then I added on a 40x AGS multidot scoop - wor ...
