Good Points: Battlefield 2 is a game that has a lot of arcade in it which means there is a lot of fun. There are a lot of mods so if you get tired of the vanilla you can play on some great mods like Project Reality (2nd in ModDB best mods of the year) and Forgotten Hope 2 (4th in ModDB best mods of the year after its first release!). A lot of people still play on Battlefield 2.
Bad Points: Battlefield 2 can suffer from a lot of lag especially from servers that are not from your continent. The graphics are a bit outdated compared to today's standards like Assasin's Creed.
General comments: You can play Battlefield 2 on single player but its best played on multi player as the AI are not smart in my opinion. Battlefield 2 uses a built in VOIP system which is great but in my experience I have barely seen people using it except on Project Reality.

I have had an amazing amount of fun on this game. The VOIP is awsome because you can talk to other players and it makes the whole gaming experience so much more fun.There are also some excellent mods for this game now, like Project Reality mod which I really like, with even more teamwork.The vehicles and weapons are all realistic and the graphics is good, but could be better.

Battlefield 2 is simply the best first person shooter I have ever played (well it was, until I got the sequel).
For the time of its release (2005) Battlefield 2 must have been the best first person shooter in the world.
It isn't perfect, but let's face it - no game gets everything right. The only negative thing about this game (it's not a bad one either) could be the physics at times, but this only occurs in vehicles.
Overall, Battlefield 2 is a must have for everyone. ...

This PC game is awesome, and it offers new forces, such as the SAS (Special Air Service), and new weapons, eg. the Heckler & Koch G36C, and also special forces items like grappling and zip lines.
I would recommend Battlefield 2.

BattleField 2 Modern Combat has to be one of the best multiplayer war games ever!
It has too much stuff in the game to mention but I will have a go - weapon range, vehicles and players are all fantastic, you can be British SAS, American Marines or even the Japanese Army and each has their own weapons, vehicles and language - I find this game to be really, really addictive and could spend all my life on it!I especially love flying helicopters and bombing the enemy, riding scramblers across the d ...

Despite the negatives, the Battlefiled 2 PC game is the best game I have ever played. It is a really addictive game with great team play. The graphics are nice and there is a lot to do on every map. It is just a shame about the bugs.

Battlefield 2 is my favorite PC game ever! There are only a few words that can describe this game, and they are.. "This is the best game ever!" That's all I can say about it.

Battlefield 2 is a great PC game. If you easily get injured, be a medic so you can heal yourself, don't waste your medic kits on team mates, wait for another person to heal them or wait until they die and use your shock pads to revive them. When you revive team mates they are revived with full health. If you use a lot of ammo be a support guy. If tanks are always killing you, be an anti tank or a special forces, and plant c4 packages.

The game is very good with some excellent scenery and sounds combined with stunning, almost true to life graphics and multi player mode is excellent. The maps vary in size with something new in every map. Vehicles are fun to drive and you can also pick up other troops in multiplayer mode and have a gunman on top of your tank/half track etc! It is one of the most addicting games i have ever played and a great experince if you are a dedicated first person shooter gamer.

After making personal adjustments to the keyboard and player profiles the game is very streamlined and user friendly. Thousands of games available from all over the world. With Voice Over commands and player chat without additional software it's nice to use and adds to the effects.
