We bought mattress two month ago it looked very nice in the photos and nice things was written about we really thought that was the mattress for us we paid nearly £400, and when arrived we used it for 4 to five weeks and we both kept on getting back, shoulder and chest pains we turned the mattress over exactly the same, got in touch with the company they just did not want to know all they said was if you dislike it we can collect for a charge of £79, no chance of a exchange or refund. Omce this company gets your money that’s it. The customer care does not exist. Total waste of money. Never again. Please try and buy from a reputable place or shop.. They just do not want to know after the sale

Hugely Disappointed. Please Read the Reviews. Completely dodgy. I ordered a bed one year ago from Bedworld and incurred delivery issues. The bed support beam of the bed completely broke and the metal casters have bent entirely less than 6 months after purchasing it, after tens of phone calls and emails, I received the offer of a partial refund of £80, for a £600 bed! I had to continue to press to get a refund and was landed with a replacement. The replacement took a while to arrive and on doing so, it was in even worse quality - buttons missing, staples sticking out, feet not matching the description on the website. The gentleman who came alone to collect the bed was unable to lift it, never loan complete the collection. Luckily his friend was close-by and was able to help him. The same bed broke less than 2 weeks later (I was away for a week during this time!). After tens of phonically and emails, I finally received a response offering me a replacement beam and again a partial refund of a mere £80. It's clear that they do not want to issue refunds as stated in several other complaints and they take you round the houses to avoid doing so at all costs. On calling I spoke with someone who was able to help me (she's now left apparently) and offered to collect the bed and refund. The collection was scheduled (or so I thought) for the beginning of the following week, so we removed the bed and had it ready. There was no collection. I received a notification the morning before the following week at a time when we were away so the bed couldn't be collected. Too short notice for anyone! Having emailed several times and received no reply / promised collections that haven't occurred, the bed is still with me 4 months later. I'm now seeking the bed to be collected and all I'm being offered is a credit note. I've called over 20 times in the past two days to be ignored, hung up on and emails disregarded. I would seriously avoid purchasing anything from this organisation. There is clearly issues of poor-management, unsatisfactory quality items that do not comply with consumer standards. I will now have to seek legal action to receive the refund as promised.

DO NOT BUY from these horrible people! Rude Customer Service, bad delivery service, bad quality products and when you you try for a return they will be threatening you with holding £100 for returning the product! I ended up with a damaged bad! If they do not provide refund foe this rubbish they sent I will have to take them to Court. Do yourself a favour and avoid these clowns!

Avoid at all costs. Wish I'd considered the reviews more strongly beforehand. Having purchased a bed less than 6 months ago, it arrived in poor condition, with the stitching being extremely poor and the foam inside being mismatched, Within 6 months, the structural sections have broken entirely on the bed, I was sent a new beam for the bed and on finding that the structural brackets have bent, we requested an exchange. No apology was provided. On the day of the exchange, one man (who was lovely) arrived and he simply couldn't lift the old bed from my property, nor could he lift the new bed from the van... makes no sense! On receiving the bed, I noticed again, a huge number of defects on the headboard, baseboard, side panels, and slats to which I emailed about and still have received no response. Just 5 days later, the structural beam and brackets have broken once again. I've emailed to complain about this and have been offered a fat sum of an £80 refund for the damage. Customer service do not response to questions or emails properly, no apology has been provided and it's increasingly time consuming to deal with people who simply do not care, nor do they want to provide a positive resolution for their customers. I will be sharing this review on several sites so people know to avoid this company at all costs.

Didn’t look at reviews before ordering but I have had a brilliant service. I am happy with the bed it looks great and otterman works very well, easy for me to use despite my age and bed feels very comfortable. I seem to always live in house with sloping roofs so forgot I had ordered a headboard! Driver missed it too. I called to tell them. A while answering but very apologetic. Said they would deliver asap. Driver found it on van and returned on way back from deliveries to drop it off. Didn’t realize bed was not taken upstairs for me but for a small charge he was happy to do so. Can’t fault company or delivery so far

elling Refurbished beds , not brand new Worst ever experience online with this company. Bought a bed online with mattress and got delivery one month later , when I opened the boxes its was a refurbished bed with a lot dents and very poor quality of paint … did try to contact online and over the phone , customer service was very rude and unhelpful . And still the issue is not sorted . Did sent over 10 emails and over 20 phone calls to chase the issue to be sorted out… never ever will use it again.. 13 /04/2021 have been promised by there manager . That he will send me the tracking number for the faulty step ladder and still havnt got his email . Now that don’t answer my calls and not replying to emails . So i need to contact trade and standards about them

Bedworld have described the mattresses on the single bed with trundle bed i purchased as “luxury memory foam pocket sprung mattresses” there’s nothing luxury about them. No signs of memory foam - I would expect to see my handprint in the mattresses after depressed for at least a few seconds and this certainly doesn’t happen. They’re flimsy and offer no support - when I picked the mattress up with one hand it bends in the middle to 90 degrees with little effort. When I press the side of the mattresses (again with one hand) it collapses to half its width. As for pocket sprung - I can only feel traditional framework around the mattresses and not the quality, support and stability that pocket springs would offer. These mattresses would not last a reasonable amount time they’re “bargain basement” at best and certainly “not as described”. The bed bases are also of poor quality, no workmanship involved. Again, the flimsy framework would not last a reasonable amount of time - it’s made up of cheap, thin Battons of soft wood, stapled together and reinforced on the corners with cardboard then, wrapped in a cheap material which is tucked in with a flimsy, plastic, stapled on trim (in two corners only). The material that covers the base is not of durable quality - it’s very thin and wouldn’t stand up to much. The trundle bed tips up (legs are locked into position) when weight is over one side or the other. I could go on … My points above and more have been emailed to bedworld to exercise my rights to reject the goods as per the consumer act 2015, backed up by citizens advice, photographic and video evidence, escalated to trading standards and they still think they have the right to charge me £79 for collection. Do not buy from these people - there’s never any answer on the phone. They’re happy to take your money but couldn’t care less about the quality of the products or about customers service. They are not registered with an alternative dispute resolution services (FHIO) like other reputable retailers … there’s only one reason for this …. They don’t care!!!

Horrendous! Ordered a bed for my child back in August, 25th of August the bed arrives, damaged and with parts missing (feet). Eventually after various calls, emails, social media requests get a revised date for replacement of Saturday 4th. Bed arrives, no chrome feet again. Bed refused as i seething now. Delivery driver arrives again and puts his boss on the phone who assures me chrome feet have been posted and will i take the bed and a 25 pound refund. 16th of September, still no chrome feet although the girl on the phone and twice on social media they have been promised. Wee autistic girl having to sleep on a blow up bed as without the feet the bed would scratch her new floor. Workmanship is shocking, mattress is the only descent thing, customer services are the worst I've seen. Avoid avoid avoid. Photos on their Facebook page regarding this too.

Ordered ajustamatic bed came within the paid the driver sons put it up 1st fault the webbing was torn and frayed on the bottom of frame sent e-mailed next morning was told to send photo as i live alone and 80yrs old told them that i could not take a photo they gave me a £20 rebate insult 2nd fault no screws to fix headboard they sent them no letter of appology 3rd fault 2 weeks of very uncomfortable sleep the mattress sides collapsed after e-mails went to and fro new mattress arrived after a few nights no sleep this fault no4 mattress went lumpy i e-mailed wanted photo i explained that a photo did not show what i think the fault is ithink the fault could be the base because it feels that there is a lump running from the headboard to the bottom of bedI asked for a phone number that i could speak to some one,the reply came back that there was nowon available to speak to me.The bed is in the spare room because it is so uncomfortable that i cant sleep in it as the bed is not being used the£750 i paid is wasted

It’s been nearly a month now since I ordered my bed and all I wanted was an exchange of the colour. I have been chasing this nearly every day for a month. They don’t answer the phone, they don’t respond to emails. I received an email 2 weeks ago saying that samples were being sent out for colours, this was never received. On top of all of this they want to charge me £89 to exchange the bed despite it having faulty stitching and also they would have to come to deliver the new bed and could take the old one in original packaging at the same time. I don’t understand the fee. Despite this, I was willing to pay it but they won’t even respond to me to exchange. The bed has been sat there in packaging for over a month. I will resort to driving to thier warehouse in Huddersfield if I have to and waiting until it is swapped. If I don’t receive any feedback or the issue resolved soon I will be making a formal complaint, this is against my consumer rights and needs to be broadcast on numerous platforms so other customers don’t have to go through the same shocking experience. I will write another update if I get anywhere but if not I’m driving to Huddersfield personally. This is ridiculous.

Horrendous although they have a phone number its never answered but they keep you on hold for hours, then confirm they will only communicate with you via email for 'transparency' The base of the bed is cheap nasty rubbish the mattress will do the job but wont last long. The drivers have no English at all and dispite answering the door on walking sticks expect help lifting. If its a choice between sleeping on the floor or spending your hard earned at bedworld, the floors a better option. If anyone wants to see picture or copy emails I'm happy to share!!!! Next stop Trading Standards

i ordered a bed 1 May , whennit came one part was faulty , i couldnt assemble it . it took till august the part. in the mean time the bunk bed was in 2 parts so my children could have a bed, another part broke . so into september now with a bunk bed that cant be assembled as it is dangerous. no correspindance from them , no reply to emails and no answer on the phones. the company used to be joseph onternational and also sleep direct. save your money

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I ordered 2 beds on May 2nd 2020. A few days later they only delivered one bed. Telling me the other one would come later that week. It didn’t. I was then promised a delivery date twice more but nothing came and no one ever answered my request for a refund. Today, 3 months later, I have finally won a PayPal case to get my money back. Read the reviews. They have done this to many many people. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! They don’t even deserve one star.

I have so much I could write here but all I can say is avoid this company as they really do not have any customer service at all. Head office will not take calls and only accept emails and then they do not reply to them if you have any issues. We had everything go wrong with our order that you could think of but the best bit was when I called a store and I was told I was getting these issues because I was an "online customer". I was told if I had ordered in a store I would have had better service!

DO NOT IGNORE THIS REVIEW!! As someone who very rarely writes reviews, the horrendous experience I've had with this company has forced me to. The best thing this company can do is simply pack up and find something else to do with their lives. This is easily the worst experience I've had with any company in my life. After ordering a bed over a month ago, 2 cancelled deliveries (cancelled by bedworld), dozens of emails FROM ME to reschedule deliveries, and ridiculous excuses, I am left with no bed and still awaiting a refund. Bedworld cancelled my deliveries ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY with 2 ridiculous excusues: 1) the bed was broken in transit, 2) The delivery van broke down and there are no other vans available to deliver. This company is a joke to say the least. PLEASE save yourselves weeks of stress and wasted time and money and purchase your bed anywhere else.

The company states their King size beds are 6ft6in long, at measuring my king size bed I found it is only 6.4 ft long. I went to their shop and their specifications stated that a king size is 6ft6in, I measured all "king size" mattresses in the shop and all of them were 2 inches shorter than their official specifications. I demanded they collect the bed,first time they just didn't show up all day, I phoned them and was assured they would collect it the following Saturday, I stayed in all day and phoned them late evening to be told there was no space on the lorry. The following Saturday they turned up and refused to help me, so I had to get it all downstairs on my own. (Am nott strong and middle aged).I also ordered a bed base, which I cancelled the following day, all this happened 6 weeks ago, I had to live with mattresses all over and they still have not reimbursed me, although I was reassured thrice on the phone that the money was on its way. They are actually in breach of regulation on many accounts, especially by selling products with the wrong specifications, this is unbelievable. Their sales man in Cardiff cleaned his nose into his collar, whilst the Covid-19 was on, gross!! Don't ever use them, I hope some official regulatory body will look into their issues, this is why I am contacting Xrray on BBC about them.

Needed a new bed for my daughter and bedworld seemed to have what we wanted for a decent price. The product is not bad for what we paid but the customer experience has been beyond terrible. Firstly a delay in delivery. Lots of mis information. A few outright lies. Some broken promises. A one hour wait to try and call the help line only to be cut off. And best of all a member of staff telling me to shut up. Finally raised a complaint and was promised a call to discuss. Surprisingly I've heard nothing. Would never use or recommend after all the stress it's caused.
