Good Points: Cheap to buy
Bad Points: Does not last very long
General comments: Screen burnt out after 13 months, hence guarantee no longer viable. Had to buy new TV, although not a BUSH.

My Bush 6693D is an absolutely awful TV! I've had 3 so far, and all of them have developed the same problem.
The built in freeview keeps crashing when changing channels, and more often than not it crashes on the ITV and Channel 4 channels. I don't believe this is directly due to these channels, most likely the digital text service these channels offer is causing the TV to crash when loading in the background as soon as the channel is turned over, and it's probably due to overloading.

The Bush 6693D widescreen TV suffers from vibrating speakers. A lot of customers have had to have engineers out, and also return to the shop, only to find a replacement was the same.- Read emma1983's review (37 words)

Makro had a good deal on the Bush 6693D Widescreen TV for under £175.
Despite previous reviewers comments, the setup was not that difficult! If you scan analogue channels as well, be careful that you get out of that scanning mode correctly. Having the ability to remove analogue channels from fringe areas is good. Shame Digital Favourites mode was not extended more to guide, and able to renumber. We don't do top up TV and similar, so those channels we would rather not be listed.

The Bush 6693D is a poor system which requires choice between tuning digital signals or analog ones, both cannot be accommodated on tuning list at same time. Frequent System lock up requiring powering down and re-installing channels. Total lockup and now unable to get tv into digital mode. Pathetic "help line", constantly busy.
