    Good Points: Roomy, Motorways a Doddle. Town work reasonable, petrol usage good both short and long hauls.


    General comments: Overall happy with the car at the price range. I find that town work bumpy and solid, slow to react at low speeds to accelerator. Takes its time to get up to full speed often feels like Im driving an automatic. Does not like Towing my Caravan when gathering speed struggles till at 45...50MPH. Then fine.

    Lovely car, cheap to run, comfy. Another bad point, timing chain stretched now it is happening with all Nissan ranges. Mine a Primera 1.8 sse. Not happy with Nissan response.

    The Nissan Primera 1.8 SE good solid practical car with enough room and a decent ride. If you want a car that does the job, then this is ideal. Not as good to look at as my last car (Nissan 100NX), but generally I have found Nissan to make good cars.

    I've had this car for a year now. The equipment supplied with this model is great for the price. The climate control works well on hot and cold days.
    The car's back right interior door handle broke. This meant the back right door could only be opened from the outside. The interior door handles feel quite flimsy - letting down the car's robust feel. I took the car into the Nissan garage to be fixed. It was quite expensive for such a small job.
