    Good Points: Nicely made .. good down to low light .. wide angle of view .. very clear


    Bad Points: The focus ring on the back has a fine thread .. which is tedious to adjust.


    General comments: I bought the N C STAR 3-9x40 mill dot scope from e-bay at a low price. I was doubtful but having used it for a while now I'm quite impressed. It works very well at dusk apart from the cross hair .. which can be hard to see in low light .. this is a good guide to tell you its time to stop shooting.
    I'm planning on getting an illuminated scope so I'll post my findings. The only real nag is the focus ring at the back .. its slow to focus due to the fine thread .. but the clarity of the lens makes up for it.
    This is one super scope .. recommended for the price.
