  I bought my xbox 360 console when they first came out. I absolutely loved it, the draw back is the first consoles never had hdmi ports fitted and the fans were very noisy not to mention the size and weight of the power brick. Problems with overheating are common with earlier ones and after two and a half years I got my first ring of death. Microsoft fixed it for free under the extended warranty of three years. They put in a new motherboard and it was fine up to two days ago when I got my second ring of death in less than 12 months and microsoft now want to charge me £80 to fix it. I have purchased a new console and it is quieter and the power supply is light with breather holes to allow easy cooling, they have also improved the cooling system and heat sink in the new machines. I love xbox but just be aware of the pitfalls before you buy them and read up on reliabilty. Microsoft customer support aren't to helpful when you are sending consoles back for repair and repairs can take up to three weeks to fix and return. I now have a brand new console but there is always that fear of witnessing those dreaded three red flashing lights appearing on my new console. This review is based on my first console and not the console I bought yesterday.

  the xbox 360 is very advanced you've got x box live where you can talk to all your mates. There are the family settings witch are perfect to anyone who wants there children to be safe. I really like the idea that you can download demos if you haven't got chance to go out and buy it but I personaly think

  after selling my ps3 a while back when there came out . which i sadly miss

  Money wise you buy the xbox 360 prem or the xbox 360 elite for much cheaper than the ps3 or the ps3 slim but if you want the xbox live its £40 a year so if you have the xbox live for about 3 years it would work out about £120 and it would all total up to more than the ps3 or the ps3 slim so if you're thinking money wise you are probably looking for a ps3 or a ps3 slim, its better value for money.

  Online features awesome great trange of games and good server
  I think the xbox 360 could be improved only a tiny bit for the overheating problem it has if that is problem is cured then I would have given it a 10 but it still is good you get your money spent on well on the 360

  Best value for money
  Great system for media
  Overall great gaming console. Great games. The controller is easier to use and does not hurt your hands after playing 5 hours of FIFA! Well recommend the Xbox 360.

  Although the graphics are good, my nephew received this for his Christmas which was totally ruined by the XBox360 not scratching his games but actually scoring them beyond belief. When the games were inserted the Box made an awful noise a clunk and a whirr, on taking out the disc the score on it was unbelievable totally ruin his Christmas

  The xbox 360 is an excellent console, the online experience is amazing the graphics are practically the same as the PS3 but the xbox has more games to appreciate. You may have to pay £40 for a years xbox live gold but that works out at something like 10p a day so Im not that bothered I have been told by my friends that own PS3's and you don't get the headset free and a very good headset will cost around £23 and although paying that much the clarity of the headset online is terrible ...

  Good sleak design, good graphics, great choice of games, great value, good online capability... The noise it makes is horrible and annoying I find, I can hear more from the console than the TV, accessories are expensive. The console is brilliant no doubt, but it could be quieter. I would rather have a ps3 than have a 360 ever again.

  This console is the most amazing thing ever made by mankind " I mean it, it's better than the wheel. You can ' t possibly beat it, nobody can. Yay, Microsoft did it again, but this time. They looked PS3 straight in the eyeball and they spat in it! Yes, that ' s right, they actually spat in poor Sonys withered eyeball and then they stamped all over Sonys sandcastle. Finally they laughed a laugh only a true underdog can.
  Why? Because after the initial purchase, Xbox360 still offers the best value ...

  It has very good online play even though it costs still well worth it! The xbox 360 is one of the best consoels my oly concerns are the problem it gets. But with the new 60gb one its less of a chance to get one. Buy yours today! Well recommend Microsoft Xbox 360.

  The 360 is an excellent console. I have both systems but i prefer my 360 over my PS3. *Online services better than playstation 3*Games are easier to develop that is why they are sometimes released before the ps3 version. Games look better unless developers take an extra 6 or sometimes even 12 months in making the same game E.G Oblivion , Bioshock ( 2 years!!!) *Halo 3

  Live is the Best you can get for online gaming, bottom line.the large amount of games released helps the console as well.but the 360 has only hardware, very old. DVD is 7 years old and was in PS2. 360 should of had HD-DVD inside.   I have both the xbox 360 and the ps3. I have had the xbox for 18 months, it was barely a month old before the "ring of death". Was repaired quickly, but it crashes a lot, overheats too quickly and is very noisy. When it breaks again (and it will) the only place it will be going is in the bin. PS3 is 5 months old, no issues at all yet. Not much difference graphically between the two. There are better and more games for the xbox but its only a matter of time before thats not an issue.   Its fun and the online gameplay is great, a cool invention for consoles in my opinion and Im thankful to say such a amazing gaming console like the xbox 360 can put its hands up and say they have done it well. In my experience however it did brake down but Microsoft do repair this.

  The graphics are much better than the wii in my opinion and the games are much more worth it and the controller is more comfertable than the ps3 the audio is is 10 times beater then the ps3 and the wii. The only bad point for me is the xbox 360 does not have free internet. I love the xbox 360 it is the most funnest console ive ever played than the wii and the ps3.
