Good Points: Just listen to both discs!
Bad Points: Boxed set with DVD not worth paying extra for.
General comments: I think In Your Honour is a great Foo Fighters double album. I bought the boxed set with the DVD included. I don't know why because nothing happens in the DVD, just a repeat of tracks on album two with a still picture! And the making of the album. Still, these things we must try!
The album itself is excellent, made up of two discs, an upbeat heavier one and a chill out soft rock one. Both are great to listen to, but I think I prefer the "slower tempo" one.
One:
01 In Your Honor
02 No Way Back
03 Best of You
04 DOA
05 Hell
06 The Last Song
07 Free Me
08 Resolve
09 The Deepest Blues Are Black
10 End Over End
Two:
01 Still
02 What If I Do
03 Miracle
04 Another Round
05 Friend Of A Friend
06 Over And Out
07 On The Mend
08 Virginia Moon
09 Cold day In The Sun
10 Razor
Dave Gruel has a fantastic voice both for heavier and soft rock, he has shown his own since the death of his former band mate Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, and he has got what it takes to keep us interested!

This album is amazing! I'm not disapointed in the slightest, but it is not perfect. After Hell on the first disk, you can't help wondering if the album would be better with more mid-tempo tracks like Resolve, as it gets a bit relentless. The songs also start to lose dynamics, because they do not slow down. The second disk is just as brilliant, with tracks like "Friend of a friend," "Cold day in the sun", and the haunting "Razor". I'm not a big fan of "Virginia moon", but neverless, minus a f ...- Read Footalent's review (131 words and 1 comment)
