    Good Points: You can arrange to be picked up at airport and returned. They have a very clean and traditional guest house where staff are approacable and you meet a lot of people from all walks of life.


    Bad Points: Can be cold in winter as no central heating, but a electric heater is available.


    General comments: Kathmandu International Guest House - Looking for accomodation in Kathmandu can be a confusing experence, I booked this guest house due to its reputation for traditional Nepali customs. I was not disappointed in any way, the hand carved beams, original Thangka and a welcome when you first arive with on my part a cup or tea. Very welcoming I thought. The manager is a gold mine of information and knows if he cannot help where to get any such information.
    The rooms are fantastic, beds can be hard to western comforts, but you get used to them. A great roof garden to have breakfast on. Not forgeting a fantastic garden for peaceful exchange of conversation.
