    Good Points: Easy To Use.
    Much faster than DarkBasic Profession.
Can now use anything that has been developed for Visual Studio C (Speech, Lua etc etc).

Bad Points: Help file needs updating and correcting.
    Some header/library files are incorrect.
    Only supports Visual Studio.
Any bugs with Dark Basic Profession will also be in DarkSDK.
Updates are being left behind whilst the FPSC is being developed.

General comments: The Games Creator DarkSDK: With version 1.1.1b, DarkSDK getting to be pretty perfect. The ease of DarkBasic Profession with Visal Studio allows the programmer to do so much more (and quicker too).

Whilst it won't provide commerical quality games, it can get pretty near if you have quality artist, musicians etc etc - the engine is pretty fast and powerful, and easy to use. Interfacing with DirectX is possible and more work with that has been promised.

Some functions are superfluous - the commands for convert to and from string for example, aren't needed as C already provides them.

The major advantages over the "free" engines is that you get documentation (although its slightly inaccurate), and you don't have to try and compile the code yourself.

Support is usually quick, directly from the programmers. A very active forum can also provide answers in need be.
