Good Points: Gentle Giant, Friendly, Loves all animals and humans, Loves children, Soft and Huggable, Minimal Barking, Requires little exercise. Overall an incredibly lovable dog!
Bad Points: Drooling & Shedding
General comments: I have a 15 week old (50 lb) St. Bernard puppy (Regan), and I couldn't be happier. She has the best personality (happy go lucky and friendly.) She is all puppy, but is much more relaxed and less hyper than most puppies at this age. Regan loves to be pet, play outside, and sleep on our air-conditioning vents. She loves everyone (animals and humans alike) and has never met a stranger. She is an excellent pet, and has become part of our family.
I would highly recommend a St. Bernard as a pet, but be prepared for a drooling. Obedience training early on is a must or the dog will overpower you as an adult.

Saint Bernard I have a 13-month-old, male, short-haired Saint. He is very easy to look after. He doesn't require as much exercise as you would think. He loves to go for short or long walks with you. He needs calm, constant training from a young age because he is so strong. Sometimes he forgets how big he is and other dogs are often afraid of him...they shouldn't be.- Read pollaton's review (91 words)
