Good Points: We found all the staff very helpful and the hotel apartments very clean.

Bad Points: I didn't find any bad points apart from having to hire a fan for the apartment because of the heat!

General comments: We found the area relatively quiet but we knew it would be before we booked. If I wanted the hustle and bustle of Los Americas I would have booked a holiday there.
As it was, it was only 1.60 each to go to Torviscos and even as far as Los Christianos which we did whenever we felt like it!
The pool was checked every single day by the hotel staff and the surrounding area hosed down every day as well.
Try the restaurant at the end called Le Brasa Del Mar for wonderful meals.

    Hotel Jardin Caleta
    8-22nd August 2008
    4 Adults, two children aged 7 & 9.

Transfer: Last to be dropped off and first to be collected on the return. Took an hour, Airport clean, entertaining but expensive (3e for a small bottle of water).

Hotel: Very good English speaking receptionists. Good mixture of French, English, German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish. Great if you like to practice speaking to others in another language. Everyone seemed friendly enough and our children played with others all ...

Hotel Jardin Caleta is in a great position and is nice and quite. Desk staff were unhelpful, the maids were good. I have been there about six times, but in Feb 2006 were turned away in the rain they had overbooked, Feb 2008 same again moved our hotel they had overbooked, since been in touch with Hovina hotel groups, full of apologies etc, "WE DID INFORM YOUR BOOKING AGENT".

Had a brilliant time. Really good Irish Bar, Open Arms, Bar Staff very friendly. Supermarket not bad stocked everything we needed. Cant wait to go back again. Would recommend it to anyone. A quiet area but not far from Las Americas. Taxis really cheap, buses even cheaper. Bad points had to come home.

No entertainment on an evening or in the day for that matter.
Staff were very rude and unwilling to even try to communicate.
Heated pool was not heated, pool bar was rarely open.
Only a couple of bars within walking distance and a mini mart which improved our stay as this was reasonable prices but bars was overpriced and under rated.
    Not very child friendly.
Not a good location for people with walking difficulties as its easily a 45 minute walk in to the centre of costa adeje and thats if you wa ...

Nice hotel situated in a nice quiet area. Location not ideal unless you are on a family holiday which can also prove to be difficult as there aren't many facilities around the hotel for them.
However there is a nice little British bar next door to the hotel for all the brits who might be staying there. It was nice to have some British food!!!
No complaints about the hotel apart from the location. The pool is very nice and it also has a jacuzzi on the third floor, the hotel was kept clean and t ...

We went to Tenerife in June for a quiet break. The Hotel Jardin Caleta is used by pensioners for 4 months of the year, but it also means it is quiet if that's what you want. The jacuzzi on the roof terrace is excellent. There is loads of space, and ample space round the pool with plenty of sun loungers and shades. All facilities, including safes in the room can be hired for a small fee.

Excellent value for money if you want a relaxing holiday. We are looking to book again in September this ...

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Jardin la Caleta in Tenerife, with two kids ages 5 and 6, and we have had a great time. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. Perhaps it is a bit of a quiet area, and we found a hire car was a benefit. We did not eat in the restaurant as it was quite pricey; instead we ate at the few restaurants nearby to the hotel, and we drove into Fanabe, which is close by. Cooking in the apartment was quite an experience due to the limited utensils ...

Just returned from two week stay at Jardin Caleta, enjoyed a very relaxed holiday and would recommend the hotel very highly for those who like to get away for a rest. There is a good bus service to Las Americas if you like the livelier night life or you can walk there in about 40min. Beds were very comfy. If you go self catering there are only two rings to cook on so don't plan any cordon bleu. Restaurant next to the open arms English bar served excellent food.

I wouldn't stay at Hotel Jardin Caleta again, very unhappy with the attitude of the staff, had several conversation with other residents who also felt the same. Actual facilities in the hotel are nice but not worth the money, but reception is just chaos at all times. We asked to see Manager a few times and he never once had the decency to come and speak with us. Very Poor.

Generally Hotel Jardin Caleta is a nice hotel, no major problems.

A little bit far from the life of Las Americas, at least 10 minutes walk from a good beach, and a noisy road in front of the hotel. But for those who does not care for the passing buses, the view is really nice. The staff is not very friendly, most of them does not know what is a smile, and they are not very competent either, sometimes there is a long waiting in the restaurant because they mess things up.

But La Caleta is c ...

The Hotel Jardin Caleta Close to the Airport. Bus Stop & Taxi rank outside hotel. Car Hire cheap & easy to pick up at airport. Check out the fish restaurants on the seafront. Quiet area but close enough to get around. Couple of Hypermarkets in the area. We are going back asap.

We arranged this trip independently and choose Hotel Jardin Caleta after reading reviews on the web. Since we prefer a quiet holiday we were very happy with our stay here and would return. Our apartment was quite large and was in good condition but we thought that the facilities for self catering were limited, i.e. no toaster or kettle, however we expect this would not bother most people. Cleaning took place on a regular basis and was to a good standard. The location of the hotel is outside the ...

We were self catering at the Jardin Caleta for 2 weeks Nov 03, 2 middle aged adults and a 15yr old son, 2 looking for peace and quiet, one for fun and excitement, at Caleta we found it all.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained, not a cockroach in sight for 2 weeks, the pool area was wonderful, a cold pool, a warm pool and a paddling pool for children, on the roof were sun terraces and a jacuzzi.

10 yds away from the front of the Hotel was the sea, accessible by a path, if you f ...
