As a regular I feel that the service is always excellent & friendly. However, the new chef is a disaster. The quality of the food has dropped dramatically - one waitress contradicted the other, telling me that the old chef was still there but that the owner had changed the recipes! It might not have been confucius who wrote 'if it ain't broke then don't fix it' but they could at least get their story straight. I've been bitterly disappointed on the last two occasions and I'll only be... (read more)

The reason not to recommed is that last night(FRIDAY 27th August 2010) the service was not it's usual 4-5 star. Had to wait over 1 hour from time of seating and order taken to service to table. Then, another 30 plus minutes after finishing the Duck, only got the main course because i got up and complained to the waiter who had first served us. Other people around us,had complants over their order not being correct or up to quality. Seems they had employed a new cook a month ago!A full... (read more)

Wok Inn, Uckfield. They are very helpful to vegitarians and even vegans. Good selection of veggie dishes and excellent food. If you want a beancurd meal that is not on the menu but the meat version is then they are happy to make a veggie version for you. Staff are very friendly. Nice place to go and not expensive. It's not totally veggie but its a good chinese to go to. (read more)

Have eaten in the evening a couple of times but recently had their £8.95 three course meal lunch. Had chicken with sweetcorn soup, spiced squid starter, then chilli chicken with coriander and sweet/sour prawns... (read more)

It is well worth the drive. We use the Wok Inn near Uckfield at work as a reward. It is by far the best team motivator yet. There is an "eat as much as you like" option for a very cheap price. Everyone is always happy and over-fed. Under £20 a head.
I have been there on numerous occasions, and I have never experienced anything but perfect food and prefect service. I think we have now sampled everything on the menu.
I love the place. We all love the place.
It has a traditional Chinese...
