Do not eat at this pub!!

It is in a beatiful location and everything appears fine, until the food arrives!

We stopped off at the Duck On The Pond, Banbury recently to break up a long journey south, but the food was overpriced and very, very poor. Fishcake and chips, at nearly £9, was just one sad looking fishcake, half a dozen chips and a bit salad, all tasty to be fair, but far too small a portion. The fish and chips was a better bet, but it should be for nearly £10. However the worst... (read more)
