Good Points: Good flight. July 2008
Bad Points: 4hr delay on departure. One toilet not working. 2 hr delay returning home. No explanation. Crew okay.
General comments: I had read some terrifying reports of Onur Air before I travelled and was in a panic before boarding and felt pysically sick!
The flight was good, a tiny bit of turbulance but that can happen on any flight.
Someone had a bad experience in Sept 2007 on an Onur Air flight and wrote a horrendous review which scared me to death and almost stopped me flying!
Do not worry if you are flying with Onur Air, just be prepared to wait and wait! Until they sort themselves out timewise I will not use them again.
They are a budget airline and the flight was good so it is a great
shame their time keeping is so bad.

This was one of the best flights I have been on for smoothness, both landings were fine. We paid £400 for three people to Antalya from Glasgow July 2008, staff spoke little english but they understand the basic.

Exeter to Dalaman may 2008- if you read some of these review you would think this airline was terrible well my experience was nothing like that, flight out was 10 mins early excellent friendly staff and comfortable flight, on return flight I was very ill before reaching airport. Having read several bad reviews I was slightly worried about flying with Onur Air. I am a nervous flyer but there were no problems whatsoever. Both flights were on time. I did not purchase refreshments or duty free so did not have cause to speak to the crew; they were couteous as we boarded and disembarked. Overall this was a good flight and represented value for money.

We have flown with Onur air 3 times to Bodrum. They are a budget flight with no entertainment, but what do you expect for £150! We have no complaints with this airline, the food was good (probably one of the best we have had on an airline and that's saying something!) and the staff were friendly

I only booked with Onur Air because they were so cheap ( £210 for three people return total price) but wished I had not done this as soon as I boarded the plane. It was truly terrible - old with broken toilets and seats that remained reclined for the whole journey, flight attendant manning the emergency door fell asleep on take off! It was truly terrifying and, not being the best flyer, it really was no joke for me.

Flew from Manchester to Bodrum and return in May 2008. Both flights had very long delays and there was no information provided, no explanation and no apology. Good points no obvious safety issues. Bad points, long delays, attitude of the staff, treating customers as if we don't matter. Will never fly with Onur Air again.

Flew from Manchester to Antalya on 09/05/08. Over 6 hour delay, no explanation. Obnoxious cabin crew. No T.V. Crew never listened to any request. Just the worst ever. Not too bad on return. No delay, cabin crew different and a lot better. This was the first time we flew with Onur Air, and will be the last.

Our flight out was awful as it was late, no food and staff flogging duty free all through the flight. Also, the toilets could do with some attention now and again.We love our home in Bodrum but sometimes wonder if its worth the trauma. Do Onurair realise how many people are permanently put off TURKEY as a result of their flight experience?
Turkey deserves better.

I have flown with Onur air a number of times. I am a nervous flier but have never had a problem on any of their flights and they have always been on time. I would recommend them.

On time and not bad for a low budget flight, the plane was modern and the seating better than some of the others. Long flight and no in flight movie or TV would have passed the time. Most of the items I asked for on duty free not available but to be fair they went out of their way to find alternatives

As a nervous flyer I found the flight smooth and it departed on time. As we have no option but to fly with Onurair as we fly from Belfast and have just bought property in Turkey we have flown with the carrier on four occasions from last year and each time I find the staff more unpleasant and unhelpful each time we fly. Flew last year fromExeter to Dalaman. The flight left early from Exeter. Cabin crew very polite and helpful. No complaints at all. Coming back flight was on time. I was very surprised to hear all the complaints about this airline

Bristol - Bodrum. After reading A LOT of poor reviews I was very apprehensive about flying with Onur Air. Flight was 1 hour delayed out of Bristol but thats the only thing that went wrong. This may or may not have been the airlines fault, as it obviously happens with every airline! Old broken plane, bad delays, no food no water. Broken toilet doors. broken seats, and I mean the whole seat was broken. The plane actually looked like it had been in a crash and welded back together. Low air pressure in the cabins, made us feel dizzy and faint.

I was told about the delays specially with the onur flight but I thought it was a one off incident. History cannot repeat again but my experience with onur has proved me wrong. Next time I will take other peoples' advice and then book the holidays with travel agents who don't use onur airlines.

We arrived at check in 3 hours before flight time, but the check in was not opened 'till 2 hours before. There were two people handling all of the 450 passengers.......................................
