I used L'oreal sublime gel for the first time going on holiday- before I even got to the beach I had a perfect, non-streaky tan. I'll admit it was a bit silly of my but I'd managed to put a whole bottle on in over a week before going on hoiliday. All my friends were envious and they started burining themselves to achieve a tan as good as mine. Well how the tables turned after a few days of swimming, showering and putting suntan lotion on. I was so patchy and the tan would not come off in the bath or shower. I even used an emery board on my legs to get it off and it wouldn't. It wasn't untill the last couple of days of my fortnight's hoilday that it eventually wore off. After that I vowed never to use it again.

One bitten twice shy I hear you say. Well I was clearing out my room about six months later and I found the L'oreal bottle. I decided to give it another go because I had a wedding to go to. This time I used it sparingly and again got a great tan, You can even use it on your face. So I was quite worried about having to take the tan off from my previous expereince. Here are my tips for using L'oreal sublime gel:

Use sparingly- enough to cover your whole body.
Use gloves to put it on as it can get very streaky at your hands and feet.
When putting it on your face make sure you put it right into your hair line otherwise you'll end up with an orange rim around your hair line.
Best to put it on overnight and shower in the morning.
Exfoliate before hand- its not always necessary but it's just good to do for your skin.

Removal: If like me you hate wearing a fake tan for more that a few days and want to take it off your going to have to be patient. Get yourself exfoliating gloves, usually about £2.99 from Boots. Soak in the bath for about 5 minutes the be prepared to scrub. hard! I honestly think I take a layer of skin off when I try get this tan off. Lather the gloves in soap and scrub, scrub, scrub.

Overall I do love using this tan as it is so easy to put on and gives a fantastic colour. It last's ages and the price is reasonable £10.76. Every time I put it on people ask me what tan I use. Definately recommend if your not afraid to scrub yourself raw trying to take it off tho. ALso would'nt reccomend it for goin on holiday. Lol.

L'OREAL SUBLIME BRONZE FRESH FEEL GEL

I'm a bit of a fake tan addict and have tried most of the brands on the shelves, some good some bad! This is definately one of the good ones!

I'd never thought to try L'oreal's range of fake tan before but one day in Boots I just couldn't resist, I'd never tried a gel fake tan before and if I'm honest I was quite curious!

I found the gel very easy to apply as it just glides along the skin, so is very easy to rub in and feels very soft and silky! It took ...

When i look for something cheap and worth its money i would choose loreal sublime tanning gel because its easy to apply and the fragrance smells good. the only downside is that it starts to turn orange once it begins to fade. but other than that its really easy to use.

LOreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gel was good to start with but after a while starts to clog the pours which then causes spots!

I tried L'Oreal Sublime Bronze gel. Don't do it. That one turned my knees orange, and I suppose really it's a blessing that it had no effect on any other part of my body. So it looks like St Tropez may acquire another follower- even though it's £20 per ml.

after I applied the LOreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning gel I noticed a slight tint of brown on my body after 5 hours it had developed into a nice golden tan but after 12 hours I must say I look VERY dark and maybe a little orange. I don't understand why because I thought I would have to reapply again as it says on the bottle to reach your desired shade you may need to reapply the next day. I am use to being quite dark but this is a bit too dark for me

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze is good if you want a nice natural tan. It takes a while to dry so I would recommend using this when you have the time to sit about until you can get dressed. It doesnt come off in the shower, lasted upto 6 days without going patchy and the smell isnt as bad as others.

I only used this product on my legs, but I plan on using it more next time. I didn't expect it to work as well as it did after only one use, but I can see a pretty big difference. It was easy to apply and worked quickly (the tan developed in about an hour). The only thing I didn't like was that it smells bad.

    Sorry for the negative review.
I'm just really disappointed that I paid $16 for a product that doesn't work on me.
It doesn't work on me at all! I've been applying it every morning and I cannot even see a hint of colour difference.
It's way to over priced for the quality of product.
I used a generic brand of tanning gel before I used this product, and the generic brand is half the price and it actually works.

Okay, so I've tried a lot of fake tans.. I'm an addict! I have had some pretty horrific experiences but I've never learnt, haha.
This product actually looks natural, it's not orange it's more golden and makes my skin look hydrated and 100% healthy. It's taken me maybe over a year to find my favourite fake tan but this has definitely got to be my favorite by far!
It's true there is tanning product in the solution.. so it is going to pong a bit of stale biscuit, but not nearly half as bad as what ...

I'm quite fair skinned but I am addicted to fake tan... so this product was perfect for me, it is a slightly orangey colour..but not in a hideous harsh oh my god I cant leave the house way.
    smells lovely and didn't streak.
I've tried ALOT of fake tanning products, we've all been there. But I really feel this lived up to my expectations and I'm very pleased with the results.
I also recommend st tropez and fake bake!
But for a high street price of £10 this product ain't half bad.

I am a fake tan queen, i normally buy the moisturiser type, i brought this one because i needed some thing which dries quickly and gives a darker tan when i need it. This does dry quickly and it is clear, gives a deep colour. I have realized that any fake tan which gives a deep colour will go patchy, exfoliating and moisturising can help but does not stop it all together.
I would use this tan if i needed a quick deep tan over night but would need to hide away for a few days once it goes patchy.
