    Good Points: Clamshell design, VGA camera, cheap price, speakerphone, Very stable and speedy phone, Excellent displays (inner and outer.


    Bad Points: Interface not the easiest to learn, poor resolution from camera, not very loud max volume, battery life sucks (only 1 day of charge with minimal use.)


    General comments: The Sony Ericsson Z500A is used on Cingular networks and can be bought for a very cheap price (bought mine for $49 with $150 rebate at Amazon.com--how cool is that-- $100 in my pocket for this phone!)

    The phone is feature packed, and so far, very stable (no lockups, reboots, etc.) The clarity of the VGA camera is not the best, but who cares, this is a PHONE, not a camera.... Speakerphone and call volume in general at the max setting is not that loud at all. The interface is not totally horrible, but takes a couple of sessions with the manual to use it.
