Good Points: Heats up very fast, has multiple settings, and can straighten wet hair great!! Did I mention PRICE?... 25.00 with tax at Walmart!
Bad Points: Almost burned hand... When drying wet hair I did not realize that the steam was going to come out of the top. My fault.
General comments: The Remington Wet to Straight is a great straightner! I just bought it and I LOVE it! It works on wet or dry hair, which eliminates blow drying or air drying, which takes forever. I used with the Tresemme thermal protector. My hair is sleek and shiny.

I Got These Today For my Birthday And i Have Afro Type Hair And Mine Has Stayed Sleek And Pin Straight For Hours. Easy And Quick To Do. It Tuck Me 10 Minutes Literally. Buy. They are Amazingg!x

I would recommend them to people who have a lot of spare time on their hands and can afford a really decent moisturising shampoo and conditioner, but I would also let them know that the Remington Wet to Straight S8100 is a very drying time consuming product.

I don't really like this straightener, as it made my hair very poofy, unless I straightened it when it was completely dry. By noon, my hair is wavy again.
The Remington Wet to Straight S8100 easily damages hair. It has fake ceramic, the steam vents are kind of dangerous, and my fingers press the LCD buttons accidentally a lot.

The Remington Wet to Straight S8100 made my hair look like straw. It took forever and a day to dry and straighten. I finally resorted to using a brush to smooth a section ahead of the iron. I let my friend use it, who is expert at straightening hair, and she hated it too. I never did achieve the straight sleek look as wanted. Went back to letting it dry curly.

My hair is wavy/curly and the Remington Wet to Straight straighteners do help but unless I go over each section several times I'm still left with a kink. The good news is I like the kink! Some of my hair doesn't dry completely with these. But it doesnt damage my hair too much though I would stilll advise you to use a protective spray. Overall they do save time and leave you with shiny and straight (eventually) hair!

The Remington Wet to Straight S8100 hair straighteners are good, but I find they don't work as well on wet hair as they're meant to. I also find that these damage my hair no end, and the steam vents burn you very easily.

My hair is very curly and quite fluff the Remington Wet to Straight hair straightner really works and leaves your hair shiny and really silky, and believe me my hair does not get that way with many other straightners.
