Good Points: Lower priced van in the market at time of purchase it was different to what was available has proved to carry a lot of weight and works very hard
Bad Points: Relatively unreliable, parts are expensive and not kept on the shelf, it cannot handle the workload for more than 2-3 months before developing a severe fault or breaking down.
General comments: We aquired a year old Vauxhall Movano 2.2 DTI 3300 LWB High Roof Van for my partner as a self employed multi drop driver. Within 2 weeks the side door fell off. It was in under warranty for about 3 months pretty much every weekend. After 6 months the fuel pump bearing broke up and clogged the fuel system, resulting in a week off work and apparently £6K claim under warranty. The immobiliser fob is in the key, this gives up every 4 months and cost another £95 every time to replace, with a weeks lead time. Brake pads go every 3-4 months (thats approx 15000 miles) wheel bearings every 6, the gearbox went after 100000, thats not alot for a box from new, that was a further £1500. We have pumped money into this van like there is no tomorrow, our local dealership could not give a monkeys about the reliability, once they've got your money their not fussed. Support is terrible, the mechanics at our dealership don't understand the vehicle, 16'' tyres of an uncommon size make replacement expensive. I don't know if we are a one off but we've had 3 years of sheer misery with a now 4 year old vehicle. If your a courier don't get one!
