Good Points: a perfectly practical celfone with all the features combined from other brands.
Bad Points: cumbersome joystick and insufficient memory.
General comments: The v600i is the most complete and compact celfone in its class but needs more memory and should change the impractical joystick. A classic fave!

I am disappointed with this phone due to the lack of reliability, its tendency to send you into unwanted functions (camera and internet particularly), and the problems with downloading photos etc.
there are too many negatives for me to recommend the Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone.

I love this little square gadget. My previous Sony Ericsson mobile phone was let down by a hopeless joystick, but it is much, much improved on the V600i. It can do everything I'd ever want on a phone, although the lack of memory card renders much of the media type functions rather limited. I often miss calls and texts through lack of ring power though, and the camera could use a flash. It can be too clever for its own good occasionally, sometimes deciding that you want to make a video call so mu ...

The Sony Ericsson V600i is a stylish, good looking mobile phone packed with some nice features, including an easy to use digital camera, good bluetooth capability, and great sound quality from downloads. Reception is also excellent! Unfortunately, battery-life isn't great, and some of the side-mounted buttons are badly placed and can be accidentally activated.
Overall, it is a really nice phone that I would happily recommend to anyone thinking of changing handsets. I am very happy with my pur ...

The Sony Ericsson V600i is a good phone for getting into 3G. It's fairly cheap, easy to use and pretty reliable. The screen is good, and it is colourful and clear, even in sunlight.
The main problem is the lack of a memory card. If you use 3G and save files it runs out of memory pretty quickly, and it makes the media player almost useless. Software lag can be an issue as well.
Overall, not a bad phone if you want to test out 3G.

I'm not a fan of the Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone. I love Sony Ericsson phones, but I regret being talked into getting this by the call centre adviser.

The Sony Ericsson V600i is my first mobile phone that isn't a Nokia. At first I liked the phone and its wealth of features. When texting however, it was nowhere as easy and fast as the Nokia's I'd used. The camera is rubbish unless you have the right daylight, and the memory card doesn't fit nearly enough data on it. Bad reception, but I do live in the Fens.

The Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone has a good camera and radio, but the position of the loud-speaker is underneath the phone, so the speaker is effectively covered unless you're holding it or the keypad is facing the table.
The joystick navigation is not very responsive. My phone has a habit of freezing, then switching itself off every so often.
The games and ringtones that come preinstalled on the phone are terrible, and the games are only samples, so you have to pay to download the full ve ...

With its sleek good looks, you might think the Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone is just a pretty face, but explore the exciting, easy-to-use features, like high-quality video calling, 1.3 Mega-pixel camera and FM radio and you'll realise the V600i is much more than a sexy accessory. Download the latest music, film and sport from Vodafone Live and make sure you stay ahead of the game.

The Sony Ericsson V600i is a smart little mobile phone. It does so much more than my old T610, and it's only 5mm taller.

If all you want from your phone is a cheap digital camera and a cheap electronic diary, then the Sony Ericsson V600i is the phone for you. But if you want a phone that actually performs both of the old-fashioned functions we used to expect from a phone (making and receiving calls), then steer clear of this heap of rubbish.
No matter what you do to the volume settings or the equaliser, or anything, you will not hear this phone ring unless you happen to be holding it within 30cm of your ear in ...

The Sony Ericsson V600i is a diamond of a phone, you name it - it does it. Easy to use and would only swap it for a similar phone but with a memory card slot.

The Sony Ericsson V6001 mobile phone is overall a great phone if you want a phone to mess around with and for a practical general overall use. It doesn't need to have a higher quality camera on it as the pictures are fine. It works well in the dark in the house.
The Area coverage on the Isle of Man is good.
This phone has met all of my expectations and more, as I was used to Nokia's. This was a definite improvement for me.

The Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone is my first foray away from the warm bosom of "The big N" (i.e. Nokia), and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. On one hand, I'm a bit if a Sony fanboy (PlayStation/mini disc player/pc monitor etc. etc. ad nauseum). But I'm also a bit of a sucker for Nokia mobile handsets (at least I WAS, my forthcoming 6230 review will reveal all ). So it was with some intrigue that I accepted this handset as a "please don't leave us" offering from Vodafone customer servic ...

Given the range of the reviews of the Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone, I am happy to report that my experiences have been very positive:
The camera takes decent sharp photos that print out nicely (as long as you don't want A4).
The ring tones, MP3 player, radio and speakerphone are all loud enough. The alarm, bizarrely, is ridiculously quiet - I wouldn't want to depend on it.
The screen is pin sharp, and despite having big fingers, I can use the keypad for texting just fine - better ...

Don't get me wrong, I actually really like the Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone, it's just that it could be so much better. It's a bit like being given a taste of something and being left hungry for more. Why put a 1.3MP camera in it when it could have had the k750i's fantastic 2MP camera? I knew which camera it was when I got it, but I still feel let down.
I managed to fill the memory completely in one day. Why it couldn't have had a memory card I have no idea! What is the point of having a ...

I am very disappointed with my Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone. I wish I had never upgraded. I use the diary a lot for work and find it useless. It is also very difficult to hear the phone ring, even with all the settings turned up.

I bought the Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone from a Vodafone store in the Netherlands.
I used to have great reception with my old phone (Vodafone), but now it just fails.
The microphone quality is very bad. I also use my hands free set (not included).
My advice is don't buy it!
