This Nokia 1101 is a simple, easy to use dual band phone that is designed for European use. It makes and receives calls and sends and receives texts, thats all it does. Because it has no other gimmicks such as camera, bluetooth etc there is little to go wrong. The battery life is exceptionally good, a full charge lasts me 5 days. The fascias when worn are easy to change as no tools are required. My phone is now 7 years old, is in daily use and is still working as good as the day that I first bought it.

This is a lovely phone, fast, sleek, and lightweight.
I didn't have it for long, but since then my mother and now my nan have had it (so it is over two years old) and it still has the same great battery life that it started. It is so easy to use.

I bought the Nokia 1101 mobile phone new on eBay for £24 delivered. It was unlocked so I could simply slip in my Fresh SIM card and get on with it. Because I used the existing SIM, all the configuration was there, and all the phone numbers and so on.
The phone is really light, and I hardly notice it in my shirt pocket, so I may actually carry it sometimes instead of keeping it in the car. I have absolutely no use for something with all kinds of gimmicks. I have a good digital camera, so I don't want a camera on the phone. I have a computer (two in fact), so I can surf the net without the phone doing it for me.
The Nokia 1101 is just the biz!

Bought the Nokia 1101 from Carphone warehouse with T-Mobile Pay As You Go sim for £30 includes £10 topup so really the phone was only £20.
And Carphone Warehouse sell them unlocked to all networks, so I've ditched the T-mobile and am using my Vodafone card.

On reflection, I think I was a little harsh only giving the Nokia 1101 mobile phone 9 for battery life. It just goes on and on, and I should have given it the 10 it deserved. My use on the Fresh PAY-G network has gone up, and I have been looking at contract phones, but when I look at reviews of the associated handsets, many of the cool looking modern phones, with all the strange add ons like cameras are rated fairly poorly. Very few do as well as the 1101, or its excellent predecessor the 1100, of which my wife has one.
