    I bought this Nokia 6111 phone new, and got the same problems as other people about 3 months into using it. The phone hangs, then the white screen comes on, it turns itself off (usually when you're in mid-conversation, or mid-texting!) very annoying. I took it back to carphone warehouse, all they did was give me a new charger. The girl also advised me on how to 'charge' my phone properly, apparently not to leave it charging overnight, so expecting me to wake up at 3 0 clock in the morning to unplug my phone from the charger. Total waste of money. Also phone quite bulky- there's lots of slimmer phones out there now.

    megapezel excellent very fast

    you can not put an sd card or xd in the Nokia 6111


    it is good because it is nice and small and fits in to your pocket easily

    Nokia 6111 had a flash, could keep the music going and go on other things at the same time. Had everything on it.

    I found the flash would not stay on all the time like some of the other mobiles.

    Mine was dropped on all kinds of floors in the space of 2 years of having it and never broke.

    This was my first phone and I had it on pay as you go. At first it was brilliant but then about half a year later it started freezing so I took it to get repaired. It worked ok but then it kind of stopped sending texts. I got a cheap phone but then left my Nokia in the car for about a week. I thought I would try it again but then I turned it on and it was just a white screen!     I think people are being too harsh on this phone.It's a mid level Nokia, and I think it represents good value for money.I have had this phone about 2years now, and i've had none of the problems others have spoken of...I've dropped it numerous times, it's got wet and is used a lot... and it still looks relatively new.My only problem has been the charger, it broke whilst i was on holiday - so i had to find a nokia shop to charge it for me. Other than that, no problems.I would recommend this phone ...

    DONT BUY THIS PHONE

    I got this phone last year because i thought it looked nice. It was £100 and now i wish i never bought it. The second day i had it the memory was full! I can only have about 5 songs on it and thats it. Its the worst phone ive had and I used to have a nokia 3410! (years ago) Im going to get a new phone soon because i hate it so much

    I've had my nokia 6111 for 12months its been in for repair 4 times, each time its been the speaker, i had to put people on loud speak so i could hear them,and so could everyone else! The phone freezes then gradually switches off. Now the warranty is up i refuse to keep paying to get it repaired,

    This phone worked absolutely fine after it got soaked during ten tors training, and today, after it got a little bit damp in my bag, the screen went white and I can't see anything else. I can still make and receive phone calls, but I received a text message which I couldn't read. I am not pleased with this phone.

    I was given this phone by my daughter when she went on contract and got another phone. I've now had it for over a year and, on the whole, I'm happy with it. Going by what other people have written about the Nokia 6111, I think I have been lucky in that it still works and the battery holds a reasonable charge. I've only ever dropped it on carpet. I feel if it fell on concrete it would probably smash into pieces though.

    The Nokia 6111 is the worst phone I have purchased. I do not recommend it. My daughter was in Paris and every time she would call we would only get to say hello and get cut off. Yet I did not loose the call on my husbands phone. The worst part paid full price when it first came out to the market and have had it replaced twice and they still do not work. If wanting to purchase DON'T!

    The Nokia 6111 is an appalling phone!!
    I have tried to replace it with another but T mobile state I have to ride out my contract no wonder they do not make them any more
    I will never get another Nokia

    2 of my friends had something different happen with their NOKIA 6111. We are all different networks. Today the screen just went white and i cannot see anything else. For no reason. Asked to go and repair it but no doubt they'll put the blame on to me. I am really annoyed at this happening. I still have the receipt and only had the phone for 6 months. I don't expect to have to change my phone that often.

    Low battery life, switches off when it wants,i am just not impressed with this phone at all the only good thing about it is looks good and that's it,i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

    My overall comment on this is that i would say don't buy it because it turns of for no reason and is a pain when freezes. i got a call and went to answer it and it turned off !! its soo annoying i would definately not recommend this phone to any one and i would not be getting a new one .!!!

    Overall I was disappointed - will not buy another Nokia in a hurry. No one could hear me when I called them (on two different handsets, original and replacement). Would not switch on easily - was an intermittent fault.

    Thought I would buy the pink 6111 for the wife as a Christmas present, lasted 9 months then LCD cracked. T mobile shop naturally said they would not honour any warranty because it had been misused and quoted at least '£60 to repair. In fact the phone had been very carefully looked after and no signs of dropping at all. Independent repairer quoted '£30 but said don't bother these Nokia 6111 slider phones were prone to that fault and that brand new 6111 available from Argos '£ ...

    This is the worst phone I have ever had. I've had it 6 months, and in that time I've put up with all sorts of problems. The time has come that it definitely needs replacing. It keeps switching itself off, 50% of the time when I turn it on it doesn't recognize the SIM card, the back plate has gradually broken to the point that it no longer stays on (so the battery won't stay in), and the cap on the top (covering the charger point) has also broken.     The phone looks great but don't let its looks deceive you. I got my phone in March 06 and have had endless problems from the beginning. The phone hangs, has minimal memory and drops calls. January 07 the phone went in for repairs as it needed a software upgrade. The phone now has the dreaded white screen that so many of you speak about and needs to have its LCD replaced... I can't wait for December as my contract is up and I can get a new phone!
