    Before coming to the Savvas, me and my friends were apprehensive to say the least. After booking, we had looked at many other reviews and although there were many good ones, a lot of bad reviews were also on websites. I was expecting to arrive at a farm in the middle of nowhere, where i would have to haul my luggage up a "dirt track" and stay in prehistoric conditions. What a pleasant suprise Savvas Studios turned out to be!
    The rooms are all you need, the staff amazing, a great location, just two minutes from a supermarket and clubs, not too close to be up all night with the noise. Around 10 minutes from the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Great value for money, lots to do and in an amazing location! All your concerns are dealt with immediately by the staff. The cold showers are the only downside although can also be refreshing after a day in the Zante sun!

    savvas studios was the best place i have ever stayed , at if u wana go to zante for a non stop party book into the savvas, the pool bar is quality with loadsa drinking games clarkie and dave behind the bar top geezas loadsa free drinks and shots day and nyt. dana the owner of the hotel is hilarious, and the banter was just non stop for 2 weeks. barbecue nyt on the tuesday is recomended all u can eat and a free bar for 3 hours with loads of drinking games and entertainment. the pools decent with ...

    This place was recommended to us by a friends brother ! We booked it for 6 of us and we never looked back ! We read all these negative reviews and to be honest they couldn't be more wrong! I think they are all expecting too much from the Greek studio apartments. Savvas is cheap and its so so so so good for your money there was nothing cheap about the place it just gave us the best holiday ever!     Arrived at Savvas and had to drag our 26kg cases up a big dirty rough dirt track (while getting blisters) to a reception where we waited ages for a room key! We were told that our room was still being cleaned and also told that the room we were going to had been trashed the night before so you can imagine how we felt!     Just returned from 2 weeks in Savvas Studios, was the best hoilday ever !! The bar staff were great made you feel very welcome. They were always up for a laugh. Recommend the barbecue night and free bar they aim to get you smashed lol!! Apartments are close to all the clubs and restaurants also a supermarket just across the road .. There is also a safe in all the apartments.
    No air conditioning but you got use to the fan and the heat..

    Well what is there not to like about the Savas it was fantastic when we went the bar staff are brilliant and go out of there way to make you feel welcome, after having a disaster at our a first hotel the Savvas managed to find room and make special arrangements to ensure we got the best possible ! Trust me both the hotel and Zante is fantastic (best to go as a group of mates !) In my opinion this is a great holiday and is fantastic for groups of friends just dont pick this hotel or well general ...

    Bar staff were great! Lots of fun and very friendly. Hot too! Food was great! Pool was nice and big n lots of fun on the slide! Rooms were tidied twice a week and were always spotless. All rooms in Zante are basic and not always the best. To me, what does it matter. It's a bed and somewhere to wash and shower, you make the most of it, its not the room you have really payed money for is it, its the place and then what you make it. as for people moaning about things like that, go and spend silly m ...

    I'm a travel agent and have just returned from the Savvas Studios in Laganas with friends. I read a lot of reviews before I went but found none of them to be true when I got there! Basic but clean apartments, fantastic atmosphere. Lively atmosphere and loads of fun.
    Would definitely recommend and would go back tomorrow!

    These apartments are basic, most of them are away from the main pool. All the facilities of Laganas is a very short walk away, and are good only for young people who would need no sleep at all. I felt these apartments were only suitable for people who like to party unttil the early hours, and only required somewhere to shower and rest for a short time. The pool was a dark green in colour and not in use when we arrived, the problems with the pool continued throughout our stay, so other facilities ...

    Savvas Apartments in Zakynthos were amazing value for money. It was clean and the staff are really friendly. The pictures of the pool are a little deceiving, BUT it is does have 2 main pools that were always clean and right next to the bar. The food is also really good value. Savvas also provides nights at the pool bar, such as the Greek Taverna night and a BBQ night, as well as a pub crawl.

    The rooms are basic, but they have everything you need. I would advise you to go straight to reception ...

    Enjoyed my holiday in Zakynthos alot. Got back yesterday (10/7/05) and I'm gutted, Wish I was still there. The nightlife in Laganas is amazing. A lot of great bars and clubs, lots to do there, Had the time of my life, would definately go there again.

    The birds there.. Oh My God! I've never seen so many gorgeous girls in my entire life and they outnumber lads too!! Whish is great.

    Overall ZANTE Rocks!!

    What a holiday, Laganas is brilliant. The Savvas studios are newly built apartments, nice and spacious inside but are very basic. The furniture in the rooms is not much to be desired either, very tatty. Mind you, we did go towards the end of the season so the apartments might just have been hammered all season!
