Good Points: 1)Good location, about 5 mins walk into the centre of Brussels and in a relatively quiet street 2)Large spacious room, nice decor, lovely bathroom
Bad Points: 1)The hotel is not yet finished! Builders about, got woken up to the sound of drilling! Every floor is uncomplete! 2)Although opened in Oct 2004, despite not being finished as yet, the bar is not stocked either
General comments: When completed, Hotel Floris Avenue will be lovely. It is a very modern hotel, with modern decor. I cannot quite believe that they have opened it in such an unfinished state. Every day, builders are around completing various pieces of work. We had a lovely balcony, but it was covered in rubble!
Breakfast was ok, nothing amazing but a good range of bread, ham, cheeses, croissants etc
The locatin is superb, just out of town, so not too noisy, but close enough for a small walk in, and most importantly the right side of town. For example on the way in you walk near some of the better restuarants, the landspot - Mannekin Pis and a wonderful recommended chocolate shop
We would stay again, But - when it is fully completed. We were disappointed that at the time of booking we were not informed of the this fact.
