Good Points: easy to open the account , friendly staff , high cash withdraw limit (£350) per day,
Bad Points: Took 2 weeks to receive card, although i was given my account number straight away and told I could draw out over counter
General comments: After banking through natwest for 2 yrs and receiving over £1000 in bank charges which i have successfully claimed back and also Alliance and Leicester (the less said about them the better ) example they do not like to let you take out your own money.
Yorkshire bank is a breath of fresh air i have banked with many major companys over the years such as the above and lloyds tsb halifax nationwide barclays but yorkshire bank tops beats the rest hands down highly recommended

I had gone into my Yorkshire Bank branch, and the money that I was transferring into another account was put into the WRONG account of someone I don't know. I called the bank up to ask about upgrading my bank card, but the girl at the branch was VERY hostile. Another member of staff have me a phone number, as normally you go through the call centre first, but I was given the branch's internal number. Yorkshire Bank Current Account: I recently had several thousand pounds taken from my account via telephone banking - a service that I do not use because I do not believe it to be secure.
Yorkshire Bank are currently investigating the crime internally.
